The Invincibles never lost a game and they had a punch up with Man Utd (which seems to be a lost art nowadays.) Wenger got manager of the season while Henry came 2nd in both World player of the year and the Ballon d'Or behind Nedved and Zidane respectively which meant he was officially the best striker in the world that year - Oh, and they won the league at White Hart Lane and are the only premier league team to get a Golden trophy. The only similarity between 2023/2024 Arsenal and 2003/2004 Arsenal is getting knocked out of every cup.

Last year Arsenal simply didn't the experience to get through pressure down the stretch and Man City did. This year they have made huge strides forward. There are games left to be played and if Arsenal can handle the pressure this time, they have a shot. There is no margin for error.

promotion and relegation system is of no help to the league and is detrimental. When a popular team is relegated, league popularity, revenue, and team salaries all decrease. Of course, star players will leave the team, and the league's broadcasting rights fees will also take a hit in the next broadcast negotiations. Negotiations on broadcasting fees are not going well in France's Ligue 1. What will happen to the broadcast fees if PSG or Lyon Marseille are relegated? Who buys it? If popularity decreases, broadcasting fees will decrease further .And the owner hates relegation. Who are the owners who invest in second division teams in the first place? If the team is relegated from the first division, it's over. Everything decreases, including profits and investments. In addition, even if promoted from the 2nd division to the 1st division, there is a high probability of being relegated again, and even if the team remains in the 1st division, it will be relegated within 5 years at most. It is also unlikely that the club owner will invest in the team. Rather, he will not spend any money. Sheffield and Burnley are relegated anyway. (Of course, if you are demoted, your profits will decrease even further.) You will also be punished for spending money due to strange rules called ffp and psr. (Nottingham, Everton)
Also, the value of the club decreases due to the risk of relegation. In fact, Bournemouth and Newcastle were sold for a small amount of 120 million pounds and 300 million pounds, respectively...
Also, in the first division, even if there is a promotion and relegation system, the same team is always win there.
Then why the relegation system? (Real.Barça.ManCity.PSG.Bayern. Of course, Leverkusen won this time, but Munich won 11 times in a row.) I think Man City will win the league this time too.
In my opinion, it would be better to make the 1st division a closed league consisting of 24 to 26 teams, and just disband the 2nd division and below. And why are the salaries of players and teams not made public? Let’s create a salary disclosure law
