    Good Choice of color wrap. I wrap my husband bike with the same ammolite gem color. The color is super awesome on the road, it attracts people even children like this color.. we had this for 1 year + and it still look great.

    Great job! Just one quick question. I have a 19 years old bike and I sand the fairing surface to make it smooth. Can I apply vinyl wrap directly on it? Or do I have to apply primer => sand it smooth => Apply vinyl OR on top of previous process right after sand the primer and then apply primer sealer => sand it and apply vinyl wrap...??? Your advise will help me a lot, thank you!

    • @enhancedautomotive5755
      @enhancedautomotive5755  Před 4 lety +6

      Hello, great question! if you sanded down smooth then you can directly apply the vinyl to it with no problem. If you sanded down to bare metal, for example on the tank. then we would recommend to apply primer first and then apply the vinyl. Thanks for watching and good luck on your project!

    For the most part, the wrap looks good. However, I feel it is a bit of a novice move to leave the "Ninja" stickers on it under the wrap. Looks messy IMO. No disrespect intended, I just think it would have been a much cleaner wrap job without the stickers underneath...

    • @enhancedautomotive5755
      @enhancedautomotive5755  Před 4 lety +4

      Hello, thank you for watching and commenting. We are glad you brought this up. In the wrapping world we call this “embossing”. You either hate it or love it, it’s just one of those things. In this case the word Ninja was underneath the clear coat. In order for us to remove it, we would have to sand away the clear coat completely to reach the decal. This decreases the value of the bike and increases the project price.This is the reason why we decided to keep it. In our opinion #kawasaki could’ve done a better job of placing the decal after the clear coat was sprayed. Making it easier to remove without damaging the bike.

    • @camaleon18
