Little Chestnut you clearly didn’t understand the movie at all. The poor guy didn’t kill the rich guy because of the nose thing, it was only a metaphor. Also, the poor family definitely wasn’t portrayed as the hero of the story, and the poor father killing the rich one, wasn’t justified at all and they made that pretty clear. It is definitely not a “communist propaganda” and has absolutely nothing to do with climate change.

Zack Matteson I disagree that Parasite looks down on the wealthy. Joker was a class warfare film as well, but presented classism in a very stereotypical way. Condescending Gotham elites stepping on the poor Arthur Fleck leading him to start an underclass uprising. Parasite portrays class in a much more nuanced way. There is no villain. The rich family are nice, likeable people, just sheltered in their own bubble. You sympathize with the poor family, yet you know what they’re doing to improve their lives is dishonest and could get them in trouble.
