      Right off the bat Ben Shapiro starts off with a dishonesty and a cherry picked version of the facts about fracking. While it is true that CO2 emissions have dropped under the practice of fracking, methane emissions have risen. Methane gas is a greenhouse gas that is 84 times more potent in trapping heat into the atmosphere than CO2.
      I hope I'm not the only one calling him out on this, because this guy is the biggest fucking weaselly liar on CZcams. It's almost pathological lying at this point.
      And Ben, if you're gonna tell the facts, make sure you're giving them in full and not picking and choosing which side of the story to tell your audience of dumbasses so you could fit that into your disingenuous narrative.

      @imzjustplayin Před 4 lety

      @Dileon Bernie's tax policy IS based upon jealousy. He's a communist. He has been quoted that he believes nobody should have money over a certain amount. He has also said that he doesn't care what happens to the money that is confiscated, just that it is done. He has also been quoted as saying that what the Sandinistas did in Nicaragua was good because it made everybody more equal. He said that while the healthcare is garbage there, at least it's free.
      He has praised the USSR, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba's regime. He's just pure sour grapes. He's an idealog that is married to the concept of communism. As his supporters have said, he is consistent. I believe that, I believe he is consistently wrong about how the economy and society works and what's best for people overall.

    • @imzjustplayin
      @imzjustplayin Před 4 lety

      @Dileon I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you don't understand what happened in Nicaragua and the quality of life for the people there. I'm sure you've got a soft spot for countries that 'fight back' against 'imperialism' but a lot a bad things happened to the nicaraguans after the Sandinistas took over which was another form of brutal dictatorship. (not much of an improvement over what they had previously)
      Don't even dare compare Eisenhower's tax policy with Bernie's. First of all, Tax Revenue as a percent of GDP has been flat the last 70 years. 90% tax rate with dozens and dozens of deductions vs. 39% tax rate with less deductions = same amount of revenue more or less. If we went with a national sales tax or a flat income tax, we'd only need it to be about 15% to collect the exact same amount of revenue as they currently do now.
      There is zero evidence that high taxes lead to better utilization of money. If anything, higher taxes lead to larger, more bureaucratic waste. Whether a person decides to sit on their money and not spend it or do decide to spend it, I can assure you that person is spending that money more judiciously than most any govt. agency could ever hope to do so. Money doesn't need to be spent just for the sake of it. Remember, economic activity equals carbon emissions. You don't want spurious carbon emissions...right? You want money that is spent wisely and judiciously to reduce the potential for excess emissions.

      Thanks for actually addressing the nuclear issue for people not really knowing about it. I do see the fallacy in what I say, and I do still believe coal is outdated. I guess the better way to say what I wanted to is to say that coal shouldn't be expanded, it should start to slow down and be replaced with wind, solar, and hopefully nuclear (interestingly, Bill Gates and a crew may have figured out how to make energy with un-enriched uranium, but it couldn't be tested due to the trade war). So you do have a fair point. However, Bernie doesn't really plan on just taking coal out, with no warning. It'll be phased out as the renewable energy sector comes in fast. So yes, coal is still used and needs to be kept for a while.

    Dear Mr. Shapiro iam a big fan of your Show. I wished we would have someone like you here in Germany. Communists are dangerous this is a fact and when someone not believe that he should ask the people from former communist countries in East Europe.
