Scuffed Dark Souls Cosplays in Elden Ring: Gwyn, Lord of Cinder

- Scuffed Cosplays is a series where I will try my best to use the limited Elden Ring item lists to make impossible cosplays a reality. Some of the characters are going to look really bad, but that's part of the fun. Scuffed!
In this mini-series (Scuffed Cosplays: All Dark Souls Bosses) I'm trying to make a cosplay invasion or duel from each of the bosses from Dark Souls 1. There's a lot of them so I'm doing it in parts. This is the final part!

Thanks everyone for watching through this series! Scuffed DS2 is next! There were lots of votes for Bloodborne and DS3 aswell, but rest assured I will "scuff" all the From Soft games eventually. :) Atleast chances are the DLC will be here with more items to choose from for the series after DS2.
Some info:
I felt it was fitting for the final boss to have his own video as a finale.
I tried the grab attack a lot of times, but didn't land it. Oh well. I also wanted to be parried for the true Gwyn experience, but no one did it so I had to pass on that aswell.
I actually forgot Gwyn doesn't do lightning spears in-game, but thankfully he did it in the intro video.
There were a lot of chest options to choose from, eventually Kaiden chest felt the best to me. You can see some clips with Blackflame Monk armor aswell.
I will do some changes to the series going forward with DS2. I'll do a community post about it soon. :)
Very Nice, It really looks like Gwyn, but can you do a Aoula of Cinder cosplay, Very few made this onde, and i really want to see it
@@baraovermelho3956 Do you mean Soul of Cinder? I absolutely will, but the bad news is it's going to take a while since I'm doing all bosses in order. Definitely worthy of it's own episode though!

It would've been really funny if someone pulled out the buckler and started parrying you
I recorded lots of footage in the colosseum hoping someone would. Had a "parrying Gwyn" clip ready and everything 😂
UGS is unparryable, sadly
@@sandsalamand3763 True. I used a iron greatsword to bait parry fishing before, unfortunately that didn't work. Parrying for the most part isn't used much in pvp I suppose
@@saneroot3288 I think parrying would be used a lot more often if it was client-authoritative like roll invincibility. In its current state, though, it's just too unreliable with any latency.

The greatest problem is the moveset of greatswords, and how he holds it. I would prefer a normal sword there
The Crown of Godfrey and the iron greatsword could work.

It's very much planned! Kind of a "Scuffed DS1 NPC:s" series, and I've recorded some of it already. It'll propably be up within the next 5 videos :)

the only sword that looks almost EXACTLY like gwyn's sword is the iron greatsword

How did it look with the Elden Lord crown?
It looked fine too, you can see it briefly at 4:15. I chose not to go with it because it hides the hair and I prefered the unkempt crazy look Gwyn has going on.

@@saneroot3288 is it worth farming? Those watchdogs give me ptsd XD
@@eggmug562 It's an annoying farm, but thankfully it has 4% base drop chance so with some Arcane you can have it drop pretty quickly. I farmed it at "Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave", I ran past the monk and jumped down and killed the Watchdog, then fast traveled back to the grace. Took me about 4 kills.
The watchdog is an annoying thing to kill because of its' jump spam. It's worth the farm if you want a cool looking sword, other than that it's not that different from other colossal swords I suppose
