Holy shit I just realized maybe the reason Dazai canonically smells like wet bandages is because he never was used to showing due to living in a shipment container while in the PM so now with the mixture of his depression and bathing being a foreign concept he can’t do it all the time due to both lack of energy and lack of reasoning

Supposedly based loosely off of Yosano, but wait... Yosano has straight hair and Elise has curly/wavy hair...so does Dazai. Dazai also used to give some of the same responses to Mori that Elise does now... so? Mori wanted to see Dazai and Yosano as a little girl in a dress that he can't keep his disgusting eyes off of. Well, sorry that was long but I really enjoyed your video and can't wait to see the next part!
while it is true that mori is responsible for a lot of trauma dazai probably had to endure, it is still very unlikely that he had that kind of interest in him. that dazai was strapped to a bed after his (probably first) suicide attempt is very legitimate since mori was his doctor and if there is danger to selfharm of the patient the doctors often HAVE to do that because otherwise the patient could kill themselves (I must know because my mother was suicidal a bunch of times and she said that the doctors sometimes did that to her) so this detail is nothing out of the ordinary. It's only natural for dazai to have been frightened by the death of the former PM boss since that was the probably first kill dazai has witnessed ( there are also some hints that they had some kind of connection but nothing has been confirmed yet), however, the reason dazai hates mori so much is probably because he used him because of his intelect and ability from a pretty young age and I'm pretty sure that he trained him himself which means there was bound to be a lot of abuse done to him in the training. He made him become the perfect tool for mori to use through awful experiences that were caused by him being in the mafia and by making him study too death since he was his right hand man and had to know all kinds of mafia related stuff. Dazai also mentioned that he always felt very uneasy while talking to mori which was likely caused by abuse, but sexual abusers usually try to be friendly to their victim while manipulating them into thinking that thats normal and this doesn't add up with dazais and moris realationship since dazai has always shown awareness of how evil mori is. being p3do doesn't mean liking both genders of minors and he has never shown any signs of liking any of the male child characters in that way, someone once told me that mori said that he preffered his women to be under 12 years old and though I don't know if this is 100% canon it still makes sense since yosano was 11 and elise is supposedly 10 which would mean that dazai was already too old for mori to have that kind of interest in him. The reason mori wants to get yosano and dazai back into his control isn't because he's obessed with them (which wouldn't even make sense because they are both already adults so it can't be that kind of reason) but because he wants to use yosanos ability and dazais intelect AND ability, they are simply very good tools to him (dazai is probably the best tool he ever had at that). Lastly, Elise had the same appereance even before meeting yosano and since yosano and dazai are probably around the same age and dazai met mori around 14 while yosano was 11 she also probably had the same appereance before meeting dazai as well. Elises apperance hasn't changed except her clothes but only her personality changed to be a bit like yosano which has literally nothing to do with dazai. As long as it isn't confirmed yet it's nothing more than fanon
