    London had so many artist in the80's that sang soulfully.They embraced many of the RnB acts from America.Boy George was and still is an incredible singer.

    Boy George (George O’Dowd) was a new romantic fashionista in the early 80’s and worked in the cloakroom of The Blitz Club in Covent Garden, London whick was frequented by David Bowie and Duran Duran. He was discovered by Malcolm McLaren who managed The Sex Pistols.

      The entire "Colour By Numbers" album (1983) is one of the greatest pop albums of all time and is a blueprint on how to make a perfect Pop album. it had Pop, R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Classical, Tropical, Reggae, Gospel, etc. It was Culture Club's "Thriller" which ironically was out at the same time.

    I’m a huge fan of Culture Club! They were big in the eighties! This is one of my favorite songs by them! It’s such a true message! Boy George had a great voice and was always outspoken and very popular in the MTV era!!❤️❤️

    You can definitely get a feel for Boy George's love of soul music in his one.
    It was all about UK and Aussie music for me in the 80's and culture club were right up there with the best.😀👍🎶❤️

    Jon the drummer said in an interview the song "Victims" was his favorite. Do that one. Him and George had a relationship and George wrote it for him.

    You are not corny? What you are is brilliant! Your reactions are always spot on Jovaughn. Boy George is an amazing singer. Culture Club is a great band. My personal favorite besides this song is “Miss Me Blind” and “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya”. Boy George recently stated on his Instagram account that a movie about him and Culture Club was in the works. Boy George stated he wouldn’t mind if a man or a woman portrayed him, which is quite interesting. I guess we will just have to wait and see as all we have is time! 😎

    The War Song was another good thing from Culture Club. Especially the extended mixes where a fair chunk of the song gets repeated in Spanish, French, Japanese, and German. That was pretty cool, pretty relevant for the time, and pretty catchy too.

    There are many great songs by the group and Boy George as a solo artist. I love listening to him as I can understand what he is singing and that has always been important to me and his voice is wonderful and recognizable too. He seems so calm and I love the way he moves to the music too. The 80's were wonderful for music though I love the 70's and 90's as well. Your reactions were wonderful again sweetheart, its always great to hear your thoughts on music that I love and I agree with what you say.     You won't hear a song like this ever again. Boy George was truly a TALENT! Keep reacting to his material. If you feeling more experimental dig into his SOLO work like "You Found Another Guy" or "Don't Take My Mind on a Trip". Those are some amazing New Jack Swing tracks.

    They were hugely popular here in Aus in the 80s, with quite a few top 10 hits. I love George's cover of The Crying Game as well, beautiful.
