Absolutely loved this review. Its as an all round review that I have never seen anyone make till date except for that suspension testing which was done on literally an off road course with a guy hiding the container. His hand itself was acting as a suspension to counter the kickback from the bumps.
The light spread test was something I really loved cos good light especially in this era where one has proprietary LED lights, is highly essential to know. Like old times, One just can't change to brighter bulb and get away with it.
And yes its a shame to see that the Japanese bikes have devolved into such uninteresting bikes. I still ride the original FZ16 the one that started this trend and i love it.

the lean angle calculated is quite pointless in my opinion. there are too many variables - tyres, road conditions, suspension setup, overall rider confidence/skill, and how the bike itself feels to you. the last one is important because, lets say for example, you are more comfortable and your body is better suited to the gixxer than the pulsar, so obviously you will be able to push the gixxer more than the pulsar. using an app to determine the winner seems gimmicky

The only variable is tyre grip, which differs according to the rubber quality, tyre profile etc. It is indeed useful to compare them on the same road as u will see the handling difference across bikes and also the good and ugly with the stock tyres, realistically not many change to a costlier tyre right out of the showroom

There are a few aspects in the comparison that are slightly biased! Clearly the use of 7000+ km driven apache will affect its score in cornering and comfort due to worn out tyres. And also it's technically apache the more efficient bike considering the fact that it has 4 valves in its piston head whereas the other bikes don't therefore it gives more low end torque and better mid range in city traffic so ultimately it's it's efficiency of 47 in city is as good as 51 or 52 of other competitors. Considering these odds Apache stands the clear winner!!!

Guys, I tried Yamaha FZ, Yamaha MT15, Hero Xtreme 160 4V, Apache 160, Honda Hornet 2.0, Triumph speed 400, Apache 200 - Look - Dont go by specs, value for money and so on..Just ride the bike, feel it, enjoy it, is it comfortable, do you like the engine refinement, is the power good for you. I dont care for these LEDs, color schemes, bluetooth etc, Need ABS, disc brakes and lovely engine - Suzuki is a beast, totally in love it. Once i tried the Gixxer SF 250 - Comfort, power and looks are just spot on for me. Did not even read the spec sheet or VFM calculations. Below 200 cc bikes are commuter bikes, period. No sporty etc. Hero engine felt strained and the power ramped up to max engine capacity, FZ i ll honestly buy splendor, MT15 no torque i dont like such small engines strained though refined, Apache was great but cant stand the posture, its neither sporty not straight, Hornet too stiff, Triumph too heavy for city riding for me. Royal enfield - too heavy clutch and not enjoyable, highways it will be enjoyable i guess, but compared to the smile the Gixxer (both 155 and 250) put on me, nothing comes close. But 250 is for me, since i like the effortless power.

@@pratikvanc6244reliability comes down to maintaining your bike well. I have used Fz and Pulsar 150 both. The Fz was owned and maintained by my friend before i got my hands on it and trust me, it was a money hogging machine in terms of repair. Whereas the pulsar 150 that i am using currently (2010) model, is running like a beast. I have spent money in maintaining pulsar and in return that bike is giving me reliability.

Now @TVS must focus on performance like liquid cooling engine, 6th gear , acceleration & brakes over features. Youngsters wants performance no one care shit about features.
