My grandpa's favorite singer and my mom's favorite song. When I was a child, my grandpa used to sing Sinatra's songs as he played the piano. That's one of my most cherished memories.

Man, some of today's music sucks. Some of it is pretty good, but dadgum. Can we not talk about sex and drugs and booze for like, 2 seconds, please? Bring back the old songs that talked about romance and dancing and actually being a gentleman. We don't have many gentlemen in today's society. That's my opinion and mine alone, you don't need to agree or respond negatively. If you are, then fine. I'll deal with it.

I could have just reached his shoes but I was scared that I would have been escorted out out. But boy I was that close to him. I can never forget that. He was my first favorite singer. I saw all his movies I had a lot of his CDs. 🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕

Kind of to your point the song is more of a mature person’s song. Sure...younger people can sing it...but it is about looking back upon one’s achievements and also regrets and disappointments. So those crispy breaks in his voice and “imperfections only add to the emotion and overall effect.
I’m appreciating Frank more and more these days.
