Cleveland makes a lot of sense for the reasons you stated. A sign and trade that shipped Strus ($15.2M) LeVert ($16.6M), and Niang ($8.5m) to Los Angeles with some picks would probably work assuming that's what James wants and the Lakers agree to it.
If Lebron’s a free agent then why would the Lakers have to get anything in return and why would the Cavs have to give anything up?
@@Geojr815 He could do a sign and trade with another team instead though Lakers are the ones most likely to play ball in such a situation. A sign and trade allows Cleveland to trade away fewer pieces to make room for him, leaving him with a better overall roster than if they signed him directly in free agency.

I was thinking he would go to the warriors. With his numbers he got his choice of teams
he is a 3 that plays like a pg and I think he can work anywhere but he is less efficient (because he likes the ball in his hands) on teams were the main scorer is the main ball handler (basically a 1 also) unless the team as a whole lacks in scoring. I think he would be perfect in Chicago if they are healthy as he is at the age he may only play 30 min or so a game in many games.... But he would also fit in Cleveland....

This team is not even currently a contender or in the playoffs, but is just a player away from being a very serious contender. They would also be the biggest threat to stop the Nuggets in their tracks as they already are the team that gave the Nugs the hardest time this year beating them 2-1 in the season series. They also employ the only player who scored more triple doubles than Jokic this year. This is just MY own personal opinion and you won't likely hear it from anyone else but LBJ's best hope at one last chip is with him going to the Sacramento Kings with Sabonis, k.Murray, Barnes, Fox.
