    good school nearby. I have a lot of experience, but I'm back
    Into Wing Chun/JKD after taking a number of years off.

    I love your videos and explanations, and especially love that you demonstrate against someone much bigger and stronger than you. Most any technique would work when you're bigger and stronger than your opponent, takes real skill and technique against a physically superior opponent. Great work

    Hi Adam,
    Loving your content. I am currently studying under a student of Sunny Tang. It is interesting to compare and contrast your way and his.
    I have thought a lot about Wing Chin over the years and am starting to see it as being a specialized martial art designed for encounters where the ability to dodge strikes is compromised, and to achieve striking power via whole body rotation is also compromised. An example would be fighting when against the wall, attacked while still in your car etc. Your thoughts?

    I see the palm is more down like a snake posture. Would a tan Sao be advosable or is it better to obstruct with yang than yin against the swing. Awesome video!

    • @mokyan7
      @mokyan7 Před 4 lety

      Robert Sorg try it both ways, your arm biu/jab is stronger against arcing punch with the palm down and a slight rotation as you intercept. Have a friend swing at you, try both ways, then you try on him or her. In Krav Maga they use a similar interception.
