- Panellists Cozette McCreery, Shaquille Keith and Laura Darmon join chair Karen Binns to discuss making it in fashion as a young London designer. Turns out, it really is harder than you think. While praising the authenticity of fashion designers such as Foday Dumbuya of Labrum London, Mowalola and Ancuta Sarca, the panellists also dish their opinions on the state of the industry today. 'It should be about the clothes', Keith poignantly notes. We agree.

Real. Need more coverage. Australia been lackin as well. Need more outlets covering the lesser known brands that have REAL community and doin but fr fr
I like the experimental cinematography but we need to GET IT TOGETHER because the constant abrupt exposure changes were too much; at least set the focus and lighting manually before shooting
yeah, i had to listen to it as a podcast.
Phew that comment on the ambition to be a fashion designer replaced being a rapper is spot on.
Pleasedo more of these panels as they are very helpful to creative professionals
THIS IT !!!! More of this from different guest perspectives, please. gotta break the media screen barrier
Love this channel, and glad you're back after COVID! But do miss Mimma Voglezino as host 🇮🇪🇵🇷🇺🇸🚶♀️👗
theres no jobs unless you have connections sadly, also you get paid badly unless you work office or marketing and no you will not be able to get your dream job as a junior designer unless you have 10 years experience for entry level, reality check.
Quite ironic how a channel that prides itself on being inclusive thought it would be idea to feature useless blinking lights throughout this video with no regard to epileptic viewers.
Really inspiring and very truthful conversation, thank you!
great points. for sure a reality check. thank you
What a shame, couldn't watch this from all the flashing lights, colour saturation, and horrendous editing.
Same, just listened to it like a podcast. I have epilepsy and this was giving me the ick
Fashion is fixated with youth and there is a pressure to start out young and achieve a certain amount by a certain age. Perhaps if there were more competitions, grants that had broader age range to fund starting a business people would feel less of a rush to start a brand and work more on the foundation and learning skills part etc. Or even consider starting a brand at a much older age.
SHAQQQQQ!!!!!!!
Thanks for the open discussion on reality of fashion 💙💙💙💙
can not wait to watch this as i recover from jet lag YESSSSS 🤭
Had to stop watching because of the weird lighting. This is a panel discussion not an experimental film.
A very valuable conversation!
Nice panel 👍
it would be great if the host let the guests speak a bit more rather using the platform to propagate her own opinions. When she asks a question to the guests she already framed the kind of answer she expects to hear.
More Cozette plz!
Great video,
Nice to see new Shaq fashion cotent
There are no entry level or apprentice jobs because they are filled by free interns who have rich parents.
