- Bryn Lucas, Andy McEwan and Joe Osborne are your guides to the first of this year’s two British GT rounds at Donington where three hours of racing stand between 30 entries and maximum points.
Strategy is paramount in a three-hour British GT race: each team must complete at least three driver changes, there are no pit windows, and drivers cannot exceed 100 minutes behind the wheel. The top-three GT3 and GT4 finishers at Silverstone must also serve a Success Penalty at their third and final driver change:
20s - #72 Barwell (Balon & Mitchell) - #27 Newbridge (Topham & Turner)
15s - #32 Redline (Malykhin & Dorlin) - #51 Valluga (Wylie & Graham)
10s - #3 Assetto (Sanson & Tregurtha) - #42 Steller (Williams & Fielding)

Yesterday during the Nurburgring 24h 50th anniversary, John Hindhough *had* to mention Ratel and how "much he disagreed with him." Honestly, considering how incredible Ratel's influence on GT3 has been, and how inclusive the world of GTWorld is to literally...*the world,* his comments were not well-received. GTWorld is my racing home, a golden era of incomparable gentleman racing.

Love John, but you’re right. GT3 has been amazing for sportscar racing and it will be sad if/when the formula changes and manufacturers’ support wanes.
Hindough should be glad... Sports car racing was in a very bad place in the 90s. Thanks to SRO, Hindough still has his job. Yeah, he works for IMSA and ACO, but if it weren't for GT racing's boom in the late-90s thanks to Ratel, Le Mans would have been affected too.

Joe Osborne is so long winded. But I literally like everything he has to say. He needs to be in that booth alone. As much as I like Andy McEwan’s work and his knowledge and excitement in his voice. I can listen to Joe Osborne all race lol
