Sew Easy: Wrist Pin Cushion | Using “Nectarine Fusion” Collection by AGF Studio

How many times have you needed a pin and realized they are all the way over by your sewing machine, far from where you are standing? What if I had a solution that keeps pins with you at all times? Well here it is! This wrist pin cushion is the perfect DIY project to always have pins handy, and it makes the perfect gift for a quilter or garment maker. Everybody needs one!
We are using the new collection from AGF Studio called “Nectarine Fusion.” This collection makes us feel peachy with 10 low volume prints that introduce a sweet, crisp, apricot color palette that is soft on the eyes with its subtle textures. These fabrics are perfect for the upcoming spring season and make a great addition to your stash of creams and oranges.

Here are the supplies you will need:
(1) 9 ½” x 1 ½” strip of ‘Dancing Leaves Nectarine’
(1) 16” x 2” strip of ‘Dancing Leaves Nectarine’
(1) 8” x 4” piece of ‘Blooming Soul Nectarine’
(1) 8” x 4” piece of batting
A 7” piece of ½” elastic (measure your wrist all the way around to get your personal measurement)

I tried this as one of my first sewing projects. It's super cute. I struggled with fitting the last part through the sewing machine with all of the pins because my fabric frayed. Lol lessen learned... picking shears?
