It's possible to use a 220mah battery as I have done, although I had to cut part of the chasis to accommodate and technically, you could fit an even bigger battery than that. Bare in mind that bigger batteries (higher mah) are heavier and restricts jump trajectories so you will need to lower ramps due to weight on lift-off and, mainly, bounce on landing where the car would sometimes lose sight of the tracks binary print and come off track. This one that OWC has cleverly devised should preduce finer results than my modification when it comes to jumps. I only modified mine this way as to not disappointed my daughter in lack off play-time, this xmas day. It's going to be a Merry Christmas, despite Santa not pre-modifying the toys he delivers. BAD SANTAAAAAH!
