Should you pick the bucking based on fps of the bb you are actually firing? e.g. 0.32s @
I got great results with the purple on .32-s flat hopped ,) around 380 fps ( measured on 0.2 ).

It's not a difficult conversion, the new blue is rated for 1-2j. More than Japan, less than most of Europe

Maybe this hop up unit will actually work with most AEG's and not misfeed/drop fps/rub against the nozzle like on the MAXX units

If this is fully compatible, which I doubt, we should expect some fps issues at least, because every brand simply have very tight tolerance differences and that's why we techs struggle a lot to build and find the best combination of parts.
On the other hand, I don't like the clicking dial because between every click, could be that perfect shooting path, but apart from all that, that chamber looks so sexy!

I'm actively testing out the Begadi Pro 5 and 7 buckings against the Maple Leaf MR Hop buckings in a Maxx hopup chamber. Would be interested to try a competitive r-hop style bucking from Laylax as well!
Which would you recommend the begadi one or ML?
@@TariqJacksonTV So far, the Begadi has a worse seal within the hopup chamber, lost 20fps. That was solved with wrapping in teflon tape. Performance wise, the Begadi MAG5 60 degree was very pleasant on its first game day with good adjustability in my DMR. Need to, eventually, acquire a Maple Leaf MR Hop 60 degree rubber bucking for direct comparison. Only tested the 70 degree that struggled in 50-60F weather.
I did the same testings, but using the Begadi Neptune chamber and a retro arms, begadi rubbers won the battle by far, just because the lips are better made, no jammings, no feeding issues, no modification required like i had to do to make the ML work flawless with the retro arms chamber, no problem with the Begadi chamber with both rubber brands. Performance was the same, i use lightweight bbs, .25 and .28 pretty easy to hop with any rubber brand, also did the test with the transparent silicon guarder rubber, and i have to say it works flawless, absolutly brilliant considering the price AND this work in any god damn barrel i tested, ML and Begadi need a good barrel, tested with ZCI, guarder and ML barrels, they work great, but they failed with OEM barrels meanwhile the guarder rubber worked with any brand or oem barrel i tested.
i got a begadi pro 5 fly in my barrel rn and people recomend the ml macaron 60 what would u so to that
It’s gotta be a 60 degree super macaron, having used the MR hop I found more left and right deviations using it instead of the super macaron with a H-nub
I don't think you need to turn off your hop between games, I never had a bent arm and my oldest hopup unit is 8 years old. Maybe in a cheapass guns. However I did forget once to turn off the hopup when I cleaned the barrel and I broke the arm. And that was indeed a cheapass gun.
That depends old aegs use soft rubber tubing for nubs that wont cause much harm on the bucking as they have alot of give. A more modern approach to numbs and buckings use hard solid nubs that can stretch and sometimes dig in your bucking over time which depends on the stiffness of the bucking as well
Yeah, im using aluminium nubs and literally nothing happend after 1 and a half year pause.

CNC hop ups are the biggest meme in airsoft.
Meh nothing super new, only real benefit to get laylax/prommy parts is relatively good batch qc. But beyond that, they still market in terms of design to Japan, as seen by these “export” packings that still use a traditional contact patch, which is literally fine for 98% of Japanese players that run .28-.3 max, but internationally that’s the normal/average

So... laylax is still stuck in 2005 where they still didnt invented an actual concave nub design. And the buckingpatch isnt relevant enough to talk about? I dont like this.
In terms of the Hop up Unit: If you want a CNCed hop up rotary unit that fits all, try to get your hands on the Begadi Neptun. In case of that thing, the germans show once again there engeneering. And a non-stepless rotary design is worse then a stepless design since you might have the sweet spot for your hop up in between.
This can be both stepless and non-stepless

How to say your paid off without saying your paid off. Prommy purple is old and barely anyone uses this garbage bucking. Rhop is still master race, and begadi/maple leaf buckings still blow these basic buckings outta the water.
That hop up itself is overpriced. Maxxs new M4A/P/I series is superior for lower cost, and the retro arms hop unit is as good with less features for like 1/3rd the cost of the Prometheus.
Yea, I think Jonathan was struggling to not say MAXX style hopup lol especially when he called out the extra bits.
Nice, But like Big Deal .... Maple Leaf has had ALL of these for YEARS now. Problem, Laylax is over priced.
