Hey I see that your BB go right through the barrel after you did the installation. I have issues with this and the BB won’t enter the barrel easily after installation. Any idea on what what could be the issue? I use a green G&G rubber and a 6,03 Madbull inner barrel.
I use a MP5 but the 2 side pods on this thing that locks it in place on the M4's blocks it from going in. Should i mod in some grooves in the alluminum seat of the hop up or should i grind off the 2 flaps on the hop up? The hop up locks in place inside the magqwell anyway since it sits inside a circular tube so it can move anyway. And cant i change the nozzle size of the gearbox to fit this hop-up if its to long?
Hi, do you know any place where its possible to buy only the flat lever? I bought this unit second-hand and i only got the classic rounded lever but i wanted to use r-hop so i sanded it down. I dont have any special tools so i did it by hand and its not precise enough. I would like to get the flat end lever that normally comes with the unit but i dont want to have to buy a whole new unit.
hey i installed the hopup recently and it shoots amazing but the first couple shots maybe 20 or 30 of a full mag just drop but after that it works fine. like it doesn't shoot well when the mag is completely full any advice or thoughts on how to fix it

Is there any way you could elaborate on your results and the differencing in flight you saw compared to keeping the original curved shape of the aluminum nub. I want to use it with 0.25 or at least 0.28 bbs. Do you think I’m doing a good upgrade? Thank you so much for your channel.
I get such mixed results with this hopup , it works great in my friends stock krytac and nothing else , my guess is the nozzle length cause it doesnt feed 3 different kytheras and every aeg I own and it only runs in that krytac ... but stock vfc and krytac run in everything...
Good explanation of how to. But, I would like to see a part 2 on showing how and why the hop up can or is an improvement as you do a test fire and compare other hop up units with it. imo Otherwise your praising a product without any tangible results.
Where is your r hop patch on the hop window? Ive been told 50/50 that you absolutly need one or that you just need a good quality flat hop bucking. Honestly frustrating because my gun shoots to the left after 10 yards rn and i only use the flat hop promy purple bucking.
Hopefully you have it sorted by now but... The maple bucking has a protrusion on the inside that fits in that window. That's why he had to lift the bucking while installing it (the part when he said it stopped sliding on). Once cause of shooting left or right is the barrel being installed slightly off canter (rotated, not perfectly vertical).
Does the maxx cnc m4p pro have issues feeding with some standard nozzles? I have the m4p and once installed it isn’t feeding the bb into the barrel I’m using a maple leaf tightbore 6.02 and a mapleleaf super macron 60 degree bucking

These units should fit the SR25 right, no only AR15? 2. Dont these maple leaf buckings have some extra line also in the other direction that fits only maple leaf barrels? Like... 1 line is to slide on the barrel, and the second on is horizontal. 3. So with these metal pieces I wouldnt even need to order maple leaf omega nub if I get it right? Because it already has that shape? Thank you man.
Hey man thanks alot. 1: If you have seen my gun collection vid, i have a sr25 by cyma(cm.072) with the maxx Unit, fits no problem. 2: correct, the new ml barrels have a Line to fit the line in the mr.hop but the bucking will work on barrels without this line, no problem. 3: correct I never use omegas with the maxx unit, i only use the original installer aluminium nub. I use omega in other hop units.

Sorry for the late reply aswell, I dont get notifikations on this. The sr25 cm098 does have a different hop Unit than the standard m4 cyma, but it is still a normal m4 style Unit, so should be no problem So yes if you see my new vid maple vs maple, you will see i use MR hop on a normal Prometheus barrel, so the ring cause no problem. But the hop Unit in your cyma is very good, do not change it, change the bucking and nub instead As for the maple leaf buckings best to worst: Mr hop 2021 Mr hop Super macron Monster Macron

I read somewhere that I should have a nozzle length of 24,00 - 24,30 for MAXX + sr25 but the stock one is 25.00 for the CYMA one that I bought I believe. Do you know anything about that, will I have to change the nozzle too?
Depends, first test if the bb Can pass the lips and go into the barrel somewhat easy, if you need Force to push it through then the barrel to hopunit and bucking is not a good match. If it goes through easy, the yes sand a little off the lips, install and test, still not good, sand alittle more and test
Sorry this is a little late of a reply but basically the pro has more tuneable and has a bb catch so no bbs fall at out when taking a mag out and no there is no issues with it in a g&g body a recommend the new Cnc maxx me pro hopup, yes it's $80 but it is the best top tier hopup you can get on the market
it depends on your fps. most fields are 1.5 joules and if you are shooting that or under that go with the 60 degree if you are shooting less then that go with the 50 degree and if you are shooting more then that go with the 70 degree. its fps based
The greatest cr@p unit, I have only issues with one of these, so bad that I purchased a ZCI plastic one to replace it. Looks and paint don't make it a good product.
Crazy people talk trash about maxx hop units. "I can get a ZCI for $10 and it does the same thing" First off, no it does not. Second, it is $40.... SO spend $10-$30 more and get an infinitely better part, no brainer.
Why exactly is this the best hop up though? To me it doesn't look like something special, its just a metal overpriced hop up, it doesn't even have clicks in the rotary so that they stay in place, I don't think this thing deserves 70$

If you are new to airsoft you do not need this hop unit. A g&g or zci rotary are great units for cheap

I bought it because I'm playing in a few weeks and this was the only decent thing I found on amazon, (accidently broke my c clip on the current one)

The flat mod is only for flathop style bucking, but yes Can Make a vid about it 👍

I use the standard aluminium nub that comes preinstalled, that works really great with this bucking
So I can just use the smaller metal r hop nub and flat arm for flat hop and it will be excellent?

That sounds good I’d flat or h hop it and stick a 6.03 or 01 mm inner barrel instead for improved accuracy and fps

Yea usually MAXX doesn’t like working with other parts but if you get MAXX parts they work really good together
What type of barel is that? Does the barrel really matter? Or can i just use my stock barrel ?

Sadly my c-clip snapped after the first install. But otherwise maxx units are the best you can get. Got one for my vfc scar h ssr
Im sorry to hear that, I had my c clip out of this Unit maybe 50-60 times, as this is my test unit still the original.
