Friendly greetings from Belgium Europe! ... I discovered your channel quite by chance. In French we say: "only he who does nothing is never wrong"... I find it very good to try to make these improvements yourself. Although your fears are legitimate, do not be afraid. With the examples taken from CZcams, you will be fine and here in this case for these rear lights, you have succeeded. Congratulations ! I love working on motorcycles, and have been doing it for a few years now. I have never gotten over the fear that I am going to mess it up somehow, and fully expect it to fall apart any minute. But follow the instructions, and so far nothing has fallen off :)
FINALLY! Someone that I can relate to. I so much appreciate that you explain everything nice and slow and to my level. You have inspired me to try doing it now... Even your Spyder is the same colour as mine! Very nice job. 😀
With the exception of a transition from incandescent lights to LED's the current 2020+ generally have no 'extra' lights. however fender lights are still passive reflectors. leaving lots of room for enhancements. I do like that quick flash of the brake lights.
I haven't been able to change my own oil in about 2 decades now so I do send you a good hats off for tackling and completing your task here. I just wish these after market companies would provide in line connectors instead of mucking up the works with t connections and barrels. Those so easily come apart and some dealers just won't touch a repair job with amateur wiring. If an inline connector were there you could just say or show them unplug here and tell me if the problem still exists. If it does its not the after market part. Can someone tell me if these connectors changed every year or were at least consistent for a few model years? It might add $5 to your price but sure would facilitate the installation!
About three hours with learning and filming. Today without filming I could do in around an hour. I’m not aware of a model it comes stock on. Maybe a newer model.
I'm trying to find out where can I get this for my 2013 RT.the fender sequential lights.(sling mod) isn't showing them for 2013 but I'm seeing a lot of videos showing them on a 2013.and on the bottom of the screen of the (CAN-AM Spyder Front Fender Sequential LED Turn Signals...) 3y ago video it shows that and side it can be upgraded to this can someone help me.thanks

Not sure about the 2013. I put them on 2015. But, I’ll warn you. It took 11 minutes on the Slingmods video and hours in the real world.
