Great you had Will on your program. Will always has excellent analysis with actual stats not wishful thinking.
Good players, good players, good players give him time. You can see that Coach Billy gets that.
Agree with Will's analysis, but I think another factor that he left out was clock management - it was awful this past year. It seemed as though they were unorganized about what to do and when - there were many missed opportunities going into halftime...
Dan Mullen was a master of the middle 8 during the Kyle Trask COVID year in 2020. That team was talented enough to win it all but the defense held us back.
No he was not we lost to lsu cause we did.t win the middle 8 he just explained. and he didn't even make it to the playoffs with both Kyle's and toney, grimes, we missed a great opportunity that year time after time
Mullen ruined are program
@brianrowe9168 Wrong. We constantly won the middle 8 that year. I stand by that. No I don't like Mullen but he mastered the middle 8. We constantly scored a TD going into the half and another one coming out of it. ALL THE TIME. UF vs LSU. Mullen did dumb stuff like HOLD Kyle Pitts out of the game. WHY???? He didn't play a down that game because Mullen was saving him against Alabama. DUMB..DUMB..DUMB!!!!! Terrible move. It cost us that game. Even still we had 474 YARDS...PASSING...YES I SAID PASSING!!! Go look it up. We had 609 total yards AND STILL LOST. LSU still won because the defense was HORRIBLE!!!!! I stand by that.

Good insight from Mr Miles. Defense was horrible nothing else needs to be said. Looking for a huge improvement. Offensive line has got to be able to run and pass block. Not good at either one last year in totality. All starts in both lines of scrimmage. Looking forward to seeing the product. Go Gators!!
I look at the “middle 8” as key players on D, as well. Front 7 plus the strong safety, to stop the run. Front 4 needs to pressure the opposing QB. if we can do that without the blitz, that will be a major, major improvement.
Trouble is the Napier offense does not score fast enough. Its looked like to me since he got there, he wants to put together 10, 12 play drives and try to keep the other team off the field.
I like when we run hurry up we seemed to move the ball well idk why we don’t do it all the time

The only thing that can help your program would be either Kirby retiring or finding a way to turn the clock back to 2008. Your program is a joke!
