I don't know if it's because I'm a Gen Xer who still remembers things like "godless" communism and Billy Graham, but this is a fascinating subject and sea change shift in American life given the cultural significance Christianity once held in this country. The drop off is dramatic - so much so that it's now the Christian rather than the atheist, who, if they announce their "label" in a public room, would see a sizable portion of the people in that room recoil in distrust.

@dgbx6 Petty? You mean because I reject openly gay people can be members an Evangelical church? There is no such thing as a "celibate" gay Christian. You are either a homosexual OR you have rejected the entire LGBTQIA+ ideology and sexual orientation excuse when you were born again by the supernatural intervention of the Holy Spirit. The PCA is liberal. I do not join liberal denominations.
