the x headlight is the only thing that seems bad about the design but it looks clean otherwise. kind of seems like they wanted to release an electric motorcycle but then decided to dial it back to appeal to the ebike crowd. that long seat is going to be uncomfortable for sure, and thats a pretty small battery for that bike even with two batteries thats not alot of range.
they are not really big batteries, looks like they just used lifepo4 pouch cells which are less prone to fires, but are heavier and larger than a lithium ion battery of the same capacity @@Lionmz
So you plan on traveling over 80 miles on an ebike trip. The average ebike has a 15-20 ah battery. This one comes with 30ah and option to have 60ah. There are only about 3-5 companies that have an option over 30ah from factory
@@FloridaVolts a 30 ah battery pulling 30 amps going 30 mph with get you 30ish miles in one hour before dying. that's cool they are adding the option for dual batteries but knowing their company this will be a $5k bike hah
people here complaining that it can only go 40 mph, to me that sounds pretty fast. Compared to in EU were only 250w motor and 25 km/h (15.5 mph) which sucks but hey that's how it's always been, hopefully they change it. If they make an EU legal model and ship it here then i will definitely buy it.
Why can electric scooters go 40 mph and above yet only a few e-bikes can even reach 30 mph? If you're going to make an e-bike look like a motorcycle how about making it go at least 40 mph?
@@slimdunkin117 What is the federal law concerning ebikes? You can't go over a certain speed? If you go over a certain speed then you have to get a license and registration?
@@trollhunter8842 it’s the class system. 750w motor no more than 1 horsepower. Class 1 pedal assist up to 20mph. Class 2 throttle allowed up to 20mph. Class 3, no throttle allowed, pedal assist up to 28mph. Some states have a weight limit of up to 100lbs as well. But of course no one really cares and people throttle past 30mph lol. No license or registration, they’re just not considered ebikes (they term they use is pedelec)

Not true.. these two are for people that want something "legal" or maybe don't know how to ride something as strong as a surron. U sound like every other surron owner who, is actually funny, thinks they are cooler or better then someone who has a regular ebike lmao.
@@lilvegasbasc-se7en-0-duece67 Wrong. The X260 is just as legal as these 2 newer models are in most places, and there are peddles that you can add for any city/town that gives you crap about that. Probably the worst interview. No price, no specs, no information. Just corporate robot speak. Shame.
I hope you can unlock this bike looks a step backwards from the X260
So did you get to find out about the special info for the bestbuy and segway partnership?
Hi, the Segway and Best Buy partnership announcement was regarding the launch of the GoKart Pro 2 on bestbuy.com
These are some sweet looking bikes !!! i love Segway !!! thanks' Andy !!!

what? the batteries look massive i assume its gonna come stock with only 1 which may be a little weird looks wise

You can only go 40 miles and it took 3 years to build it ?
lol
Yes , but it does have a carry rack.

The bike looks AMAZING but its a copy of Sandor's Metacycle. I'd llke to ride it but too slow. Pease up the speed.

That's not how it works.
this thing will do 40 easy when unlocked.. they advertise 28 so it can be classified as a bicycle, and wont need license or registration
Cause scooters don’t have laws..ebikes had a federal law passed in 2002

Exactly. He is a horrible salesman. He should have been spitting out specs and features. 🤦♂️
Class 2 bikes. Legally limited to 28 mph

He's probably there covering for someone, or an employee who got fired. 🤷
A lot of talk for very little info.
