I have always loved your voice and musical abilities. I remember one gig you did years ago and your mom video chatted with me so I could watch you perform. I can't remember exactly how old you were. Kaimani sang with you some during that gig, if that helps pinpoint which gig. I was so enthralled with the melodic qualities of your voice. I'm glad you are rediscovering your love of music. Oh, and by the way, it seems to me that it is quite normal for young artists to break away from the music during the voice change years. It's fine to be multi-genred (did I just invent a word?)--classical, folk, blues, pop, gospel...there's a place at the table for all of it, depending on your mood at the moment. Keep behind the mule. I love to hear you play.
Classical is making a come back. it is so soothing for autistic people helps them ride in a car for hours , calm them down in the home and left along for a few min.. Now I hAVE been hooked. BUT LOVE ALL AREA THAT YOU DO, NO NEED TO DO JUST ONE KIND OF MUSIC.

Just remember to consciously work at keeping your joy in music. Musicians can often lose that love and drive for the music in itself because it becomes “a job”

i symphathise with you, i am 62 and learning the guitar and know what it's like geting a little rusty through no pratice. ps, watching your family for the last two years, when you were living in the camper van inside the garge, before the start of the tiny home and before any ground work on the house. Simply living is a joy to watch. and to the kids, ie, yours self grow up in the last couiple of years. i just married my eldset this weeked, 25, i know your dad will be looking so much to that as i did. love your music.

I understand the strong ties music can have on one. Always keep it in your life in one form or another. I do know how incomplete you can feel without it. Keep on, keeping on.
Neveha, make it a daily routine too, practice and create. The piano now that it is a stable environment, have it cleaned and tuned. Its still sounds good. If playing classical is what works for you, right now then run with it. The repetitions are what your going for until the music and notes flow together seamlessly.
Remember you have too walk before you run, focus on your running. With the music...

I made a living as a musician all my life, I'm a 75 now. Mostly piano based and guitar and computer programming music. Now I work primarily just in my recordings studio and haven't gigged for 3 years after gigging full time for 55 years five or six nights a week 50 weeks a year. It is amazing how I need to look up the lyrics for songs I've sung a thousand times. As far as keyboards go I highly recommend the Korg PA4X. It is an entire world in a box.
I too was a musician. I started on piano at 4, and switched to trumpet at 7. I had the best trumpet teachers that gave me lessons to practice 3-5 hrs a day. I was traveling the world at age 10. In the US Marine Corps band, also played with the headliners, Broadway, and production shows. In fact my 2 sons mother was dancer I met in a show. If it’s just a hobby then have fun. If you want to go further then 3-5 hrs a day with a great teacher will get you there. Either way have fun. Music is a gift and you have it.
I am deaf , I wear two hearing aids . I love to listen to any country music songs . I can’t live without my hearing aids . You are so amazing . I 🤟🏻 watching you and your mom and dad’s video on CZcams all the times 🙏🏻❤️🤟🏻

You have a very finely tuned sense of humor😃 Delightful🤗 I was in love with music and even had a kiddy guitar with plastic strings. In made my own music with lyrics such as "My Heart, My Heart." That's all of it. Simple but to the point. Then started playing the trumpet in Jr. Hs. Move up to 1st chair. Loved musicals, orchestra, rockn' roll, country, classical, etc. The best was religious music because of the real heart in the lyrics. Please continue to pursue music all your life!🤠

I, too, started music super young (Mom said I sang in my crib all the time, so they knew), piano, guitar, and trumpet at 6. Added others along the way, and still playing & singing 60 years later. ❤ Gigs, shows, choruses, orchestras, bands, musicals (both on stage and in the orch. pit), scholarship to college, travel, career... all due to music. KEEP IT UP! You have the talent, it brings you and others joy, and most importantly, you are a musician and you have to, it's deep within your soul! We're enjoying your ride with you... ❤

I have performed all types of music on piano, but I always gravitate towards classical. Always challenging and so rewarding. Lately, I've gravitated toward Spanish classics (Lecuona, Granados, Carlos Gardel (tango), etc., but I throw in a little Scott Joplin now and then for fun -- like his "Maple Leaf Rag" 😉). However, if you stray away from your music, as I did in the past, you will become rusty. Keep playing, Nevaeh! It's wonderfully entertaining and great therapy, too (I used to play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata to wind down after a stressful work day, but now reach for one of Franz Schubert's pieces such as his Standchen or nocturne.) Enjoy!

Pursue your dream no matter how long it takes. Even if life and your own family puts it on the shelf for a season. My daughter started at three, but it took till her kids were grown, and sadly a widow, before she was able to get one of her original songs recorded. She did fill in some free time with writing music for TV shows (2 were chosen for Glee and 2 for NCIS LA) and commercial jingles. She kept her skills up with open mike nights and the occasional gigs through the years. She now has a producer and has three albums worth of original material set to record. Life experience has really given her her voice in a big way. Stay strong and keep in touch with your heart's music no matter what!

My honey, plays rhythm guitar. When you said you had four in cases, I had to laugh. You NEVER lose the love of playing music bug. He will be celebrating his #68 in a few days. Lol He is in two bands and has several gigs coming up. They play in restaurants, we live in Florida so a lot of marina's which has restaurant/bars and our camp grounds has a lot of music festivals. The Blueberry Festival is a great one. Any ways hes been playing for 55 years. You never give it up, its in your blood. I am his biggest fan and he can make my heart skip a beat when he sings for me. In the past two months we have had ten new electric Les Pauls and Gibson guitars venturing through our home, he's looking for his next new favorite. He plays drums also and just yesterday picked up his third new set. SMH 😂 Music is in his blood and gives him something to focus on as we are approaching the end of our lifes journey. It fills his days as it did when his journey was beginning.
So sweet young lady, Navaeh play for you, for the horses, for the mountains, play because it gives and brings your soul joy. You are truly gifted and there's so much more to discover in music.

Nevaeh, you'll never lose your love for music. I started like you, about 6 yrs old, singing with my father any chance I could. He had the most beautiful bass voice and we blended perfectly. My guitar came at 11, tons of school performances through HS and college, even sang at my second wedding. Now at 70, the voice is gone but I still have the guitar...and I only feel at peace when I can have my music around me. Keep it up, your voice and instruments are beautiful, they will bring you joy forever no matter where you go or what you do in the future!
