Wow, this is great! I read the article in WSJ and then found your video of the trestle! I actually have this album and and still play it from time to time on my Technics SI-1210 turntable. I'm a vinyl "freak"! I only live about 50 miles from Athens and have visited the park and seen the trestle! Man the memories! Thanks!
Good to see it is still standing. I saw it in person in ther early 2000's and I was surprised at how it looked in person. It didn't seem as tall as it did in photos and videos I saw.

Great article in today's---2/6/12-----edition of The Wall Street Journal about this famous structure and its future. Even made the front page!
This and the steeple are now listed on google map, I think both are registered historical sites now.
