But I prefer the original golden age explanation. Of him asking how he can strike fear into the hearts of criminals then a bat flies in like an omen. I’m surprised it hasn’t been used in the movies. It would be such a badass scene.
Like he ponders the. The bat flies in and lands on like the table in front or maybe on a cabinet or something, then he looks the bat in the eyes with a smirk on the face. Then it jumpcuts to him in the suit on top of a building. Maybe even add a lighting strike to make it more badass.
I would love to finally see a Batman mask that doesn't require black eye shadow. I wanna see Batman have white eyes,like in the comics. It works for Deadpool and it could work for Batman too.

Yes! Definitely. If there ever is a "Batman Beyond" film,the mask will need white eyes for sure. That'd be awesome to finally get a "Batman Beyond" movie. Although,I don't think it'll be anytime soon. I had read something online about another Batman reboot coming out around 2019,simply called "The Batman". Ben Affleck is supposed to be starring in it as Bruce Wayne/Batman and directing the film as well. But I'd rather see a "Batman Beyond" movie than another reboot.

its down to peoples preference, I myself like Bale's 2nd suit, seemed to make more sense from a combat role seeing as the head could move while at the same time keeping most of the elements that made the original comic suit so threatening.

It's neat to see how the contemporary image of Batman was shaped around the choices of people involved in the Burton film and the animated series.
"Ok, no blue, it needs to be black and scary. Eye makeup to make it darker. Good! Ok, no spandex. It should look like substantial."

And then Kevin Conroy comes around and decides, "You know, Batman should really use a different voice than the one he uses as Bruce Wayne." Finally, every Batman on screen adopts a different voice for the two halves of Bruce's life, and they wear dark body armor suits.

Conroy's TAS Batman never used a body armor, it actualy was a spandex, not kevlar or anything like that, he was 100% vulnerable to knifes and bullets.

Keaton did a distinct different voice for batman vs bruce wayne, this has been discussed in many interviews that he was the first, motivated by realistic acting and character motivation. Keaton thought it would be really dumb for Bruce to give away his identity by talking the same way when playing Batman given how Bruce is a notable figure in town already.

The Batman Begins Batsuit is my favorite out the movies, but overall I love the Arkham Origins Batsuit.

Although I wouldn't necessarily claim that the Batman Forever batsuits were the best, I still think they were very well done and looked great. Even though I thought the nipples were kind of stupid on the original panther black batsuit in Batman Forever, I still thought that it was very well done, and the Sonar Suit looked just incredible (and it didn't have the stupid nipples either). And if you can get past and/or ignore the nipples on the original panther black batsuit then that one was a great design too. And I think Val Kilmer had the right look for those batsuits.
Joban Sandhu Yes it definitely is hard to disregard the nipples on the Batman Forever Panther batsuit. But regardless it was still a good design for 1995. If only the Panther batsuit had done away with the nipples just like the Sonar Suit did....

I still think that Michael Keaton looked the best -- despite the fact that his suit may have been the most onerous to put on and wear for any length of time.

The Batsuits from the Burton/Schumacher and the Nolan films were came in black rather than a traditional blue underpants over a pair of grey tights. The Batsuit from the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice were dark grey and black cape and cowl.
That image at 3:55 almost looks like the box art for “Batman: Arkham Origins.” That photo had to have been the inspiration for that artwork.
I would take a Kevlar bat suit over the rubber bat suit
Ben afleck has a rubber mask but the rest of it is a material that mimics the way Kevlar looks like

The nipples on the suits were suppose to be inspired by the concept of a muscle cuirass. It turned out silly. In the Watchmen movie Ozymandias also had nipples on his suit to refrence this concept and to also reference Batman and Robin

the begins suit was really awkward and not functional, and although the bvs suit was really cool looking (mostly when standing still) the cowl with the neck still looks kinda lame when he moves around

No other superhero suit has this much attention put into it. As it should be. The man without any powers needs to put as much thought into his armor as possible

Modelling the cowl on a motorcycle helmet makes sense as it allows batman to turn his head, the worst part was probably when Keaton had to peel off his cowl showing how plastic and cheap it looked.

My favorite is the nomex survival suit before it becomes the batsuit in begins.
Christian Bale definitely had the most interesting and unique suits, while Ben Affleck had the most comic accurate looking suit. Bale's suits have become favorites of mine. I have his Dark Knight suit for a costume. Michael Keaton's suits were pretty nice looking as well. I really liked his Bat symbol Design, especially in Batman 89.

TDK Batsuit is the best. It has a functionality to it no other suit does, while remaining sharp, agile, and intimidating. BvS Batsuit looks like a worn bad cosplay.

The Batman Begins suit is the best suit out of these suits.
batsuit is what makes bruce wayne batman, in the batsuit he becomes his true self and expresses his wrath and anger. even though i liked rubber batsuits from burton/schumacher batman movies and affleck's suit also looks cool but the dark knight batsuit is the greatest we have seen so far. it was cool looking, it had a purpose of protecting batman, i like those retractable blades on the gauntlets... one day i would really like to see arkham knight batsuit in live action because that batsuit is the best i've seen so far, its cool, badass, high tech and what i would like to see in the future is the detective mode and hd screens from batman's gauntlets.
The thing that would have made the dark knight suit better looking and made bale look a little more buff would be if they added like false trap muscles on the shoulders in the form of like extra armor plates but didnt connect all the way to his neck.
Christian Bale was alot more buff but the director said he was too buff. So Bale went and lost muscle.

batmans suit didnt gave bruce wayne powers bruce wayne has the same abilities as batman. He is able to do more as batman because the mask protects him and the people he keeps most dear to him. He has the chance to take more risks as batman because no one (besides alfred and hugo strange) know who batman is.

I Really Miss that White Eye from animated series. why not any one thought of that to put in a movie suit.?
They do it at the end of the Dark Knight. When Batman has a Sonar visual built into his cowl that allows him to view it from a white lens, creating that "white-eye" effect from the Animated Series. But it normally would be extremely inconvient for the actors. Kinda hard to see.
