Where are the Mileaukee, Ryobi, and Dewalt BOGO deals???
They're not great at all... Old gen batteries, old gen tools
The $499 was just for the table and chairs. Another $399 for the umbrella to have shade! $900 total isn't nearly as exciting...
That much for some LED lights.... Wow
I am with you on the paint at Home Depot. I always look for OOPS paint or stain.
I have a tiny yard and that small mower is AMAZING. I do my whole yard in 15 minutes on one 4ah battery
I have the 20" self propelled ryobi mover. Mulches or bags and is rock solid. my neighbor has the ego. He has had nothing but issues with batteries, the charger is massive in comparison. He recently sold the ego and replaced it with the ryobi and is loving it. slowly the whole street is going lime green
I had one of DeWalt's self propelled mowers...2 years old... Stopped working, I took it to the San Antonio service center... I was issued a full refund... I now love the new self propelled DeWalt with dual blades... MTD manufactured... Stay safe, Tim
The step ladder joke never gets old lol
I have 2 HR214 Honda mowers both over 30 years old....they kill mosquitos on start and then run forever while sipping the gas.
Gas mowers are loud, smelly, heavy, incredibly polluting and require constant maintenance. Electric is far superior in every way but price.
Help please. I can't find the Ryobi Days HP options on the Home Depot website.
The Bear needs a mustache trim. IJS 🤷♂️
😂 It looks gross
He is Stylen that slightly more grizzled , Montana Mountain Man look over the Smooth Slick Vegas thing. 😅
The Honda small engine plant in Mebane NC has begun to cease production and is going to be manufacturing, ATV/ dirt bike engines and the former ATV plant (swepsonville SC) will be switching to make electric motors to replace the former small engine plant in NC
Is that where their generator engines are made?
We've had our Nexgrill for 8 years now. It been outside with a cover on it the entire time. We have to replace the cover every couple of years. For the price, it's been a great grill.
To be honest we like your Bear video's better LOL Seriously, these deals suck, nothing that will make me go to Home Depot for Memorial day
Here I've been waiting for the Ryobi Days leak. I swear it landed before Memorial Day last year.
Some of the deals are online now. Bought the HP bat kit (Two 4's and a 2ah) and the pet stic vac for 199. Might be in store soon but that one is online. They also have the $99 deal but its also not as good as last year as far as the battery kit goes, its a 4ah and a 2ah for 99 with a bunch of the brushed tools free. I was hoping for the torque wrench or the 7 1/4 circ saw :(
For the totes just get the black ones and put a white sticker like the ones used at conferences for the my name is badge and a sharpie
29:50 In addition to the 280 volt batteries it also has 240 volt batteries, the four batteries that it comes with if you bought them separately would cost you $2,500 So just the batteries you're basically getting almost the entire amount that they're charging for it.
Not impressed with HD this year. HF is over here killing it with deals.
You got me hyped up to want tools I don't need.
There might be tools you don’t need right now but there is no such thing as tools you don’t need.
Have to say, you're dead wrong on the Weber grills. After going through 3 low end gas grills like "nexgrill" I purchased a Weber and I'll never go back. They hold up so much better than the other so-called stainless steel grills that are pretty much throw-away after 3 years. I cook all year long including Michigan winters and the Weber work great.
Just the quality difference in the lids alone make me never want to go back to a cheap grill. I had a 2 year old Brinkman shear the hinges off the lid with normal use. And it was always covered 🙄
I agree 100%. Weber is worth it we grill all year round up here in New England. Even in Noreasters. Blizzard burgers are the best 👌
I just picked up a Ryobi 18V brushless hand vac for $30 at Home Depot. Retail price is $120. They have them on clearance at most locations.
Shout out to all the Dougs that called out by name 😂
Unfortunately, the closet Home Depot is over 60 miles from me. I'm not driving that far at less than 10 mpg in my truck.I will say that I feel certain that you've found the best deals, as you always do. To those who live live close enough or don't mind paying for shipping, watch this video. Jeff is the guy to watch for deals! It just wouldn't pay me to shop there! 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Great deals thanks for sharing
Pretty disappointed no Weber grill sales! I missed the spirit deal in the beginning for $399
Thanks
the 299 , 18 volt Ryobi mower is just the ticket for old guys with yards with ditch banks, so light weight and faster than a weedeater,
Bear, I have that exact 18v, 16” Ryobi mower, and for my 1/10 acre property in Northern NJ just outside of NYC, it is more than perfect. I can do my entire front and back on 1/2 of a 6.0 battery.
Good stuff thanks
thanks
“Turn it into a go-cart” LOL
PERFECT
These 4 burner grills are outstanding for cooking fillets at 700+ degrees
The ChunX lump charcoal at 20 bucks for 20lbs is a good deal. Most lump is way more than that. I have used it a few time and seems good. Did use it on a long cook on BGE and it lasted as needed for 4+ hours.
24:28 either you're given the wrong prices there for the two Milwaukee starter sets or you're wrong You say that the more expensive one comes with the bits and blades but you can buy that kit for like $10 The two prices you're giving are $1 apart You're saying the 219 versus the 220 so if they're 220 comes with a $10 item get the $1 more expensive one and get the $10 blades and bits
Love your stuff. Question on RYOBI days, the link you were showing let you choose the tool but mine is specific tool. Maybe only closer to Memorial Day or location soecific
Your what?
Supporting channel. Shine On 🙂👍
Another good video. Looking at the lowes dewalt xr $99 multitool kit? Any one gave it with an extra battery? Also do a CV ideo comparing all the different brand/ store totes and thier compatibility!!!!!! Which system to get for storage around the house/garage. Thank you
Love the video! I have the ryobi 40 volt weeder. When I gets hot it has a fires smell to it. It’s ok. The battery life last me a hour. I would just go gas.
Hey, They have a smart tag that can be used in them storage containers. I know I have seen them
Love your videos, but have to disagree about Weber. I've had a SIlver B for 26 years and all I've had to replace is the thermeter, wheels and grates. There's no way you're getting that life out of a Nexgrill, they're made much cheaper.
I totally agree. I was a Char-Broil fb in the 70,80,and 90's. Had to replace parts about every 4or5 years. Purchased my Weber Genesis in 2008 with George Bush economic stimulus money. Not cheap but, found out, sometimes you Do get what you pay for. This grill is incredible. Looks and cooks like the 1st. day I got it. Use it 30to40 times a year. Never had to replace a thing on it.Quality built, cooks great. Keep it cleaned, outside covered up year round. Best Purchase I've ever made. It will, no doubt, outlive me.
Yeah I gotta agree as well. The things never mentioned are the overall high max heat output, and the even heat distribution with 0 hot spots on my Genesis. No cheap gas grill will even come close...and I've used plenty. Besides that you have the awesome build quality, the grill grates are nice and heavy duty (I prefer the cast iron, but the stainless are nice as well), the flavorizer bars, the nice heat control on the knobs. The multi-ignition capability, etc. They're also completely, and easily, rebuildable if you ever need to replace a part, or even the entire burner system. If you grill more than a once or twice a year, they're absolutely worth the money.
my wifes dad (in his 70s now) buys a weber grill for every guy that enters the family. they make some incredible grills and theres just something about them that just feels like old reliable. this year, this maniac literally dropped off a nice traeger without even saying hi on his way out of town.
Weber isn't the grill it used to be. It's still better than a char broil, but the sheet metal and paint is thinner leading it to rust out a lot quicker. I have an older Weber, as well, and I'll get rid of it when i can no longer get the parts; i love it.
@@kurdtpatton5039 I have an older Genesis from about 16-17 years ago. I haven't noticed that the actual grill unit is any cheaper made on the newer ones. They redesigned some things, like the shape of the top, and the storage racks underneath, moved the burner knobs from the side tray to the front, which rotated the burners inside from horizontal to vertical orientation (which I kinda like with the added "sear" burner). Though I haven't used the new ones personally, my family has, I haven't. However I didn't see anything, or feel anything, that would point to an obvious reduction in quality. Is this something you actually experienced?
My kids like you as the Bear
I just got that 1800psi pressure washer, and it's great i never want to drag out my big ol gas one again. It's not as fast and uses less water, but it does the job.
Hi Den. I loved those deals. I may buy the Milwaukee 6 tool kit. Do you think those prices will still available on june 9th. Ill flight to USA on 8th
Crazy how you do this in one take
I love my 16" 40v. For my .25 lot in the city. It gets in between all the smaller places my 20" never could
Memorial Day isn’t for grilling. It’s for remembering the fallen.
Yesterday, I saw the dewalt 850 for $99, Today I went to home depot but it's 149
man ryobi days is wayyyy worse than it was last year
It's the power tool version of shrinkflation.
40 yrs ago if I said my local lumber yard was having a Memorial Day sale and Bbq grills were on sale . They would laugh me out the door
Grill is only good if you can get replacement grills inserts
Hart 21" 40volt push mower $299 at Wally world
40V pressure washer vs 18V ryobi, both are 600psi, how is one better?
Is the $350 for the 27 inch 10 drawer husky combo a good deal? Says originally $550
An argument I can see for honda keeping generators around is the price difference between a honda generator and a generic generator is significantly greater than the price difference between a honda mower and generic mower
Sorry, I can't recommend the Ryobi mowers, or honestly any Ryobi 40V product. It works well when it works but there seems to be an issue after a couple of seasons and getting a response from Ryobi is brutal and their only response is to take it to a service center, which are few and far between.
Indy 500 and the Coke 600 double this memorial day weekend. Go Larson!
Lol, I waited for the annual paint sale and they skipped it altogether this year. Thanks Boden.
Yep... waiting for Lowes cause SNOOZE for Home Depot
For a second, I thought the outdoor dining set included the umbrella, made it sound like it did.
As always, great video Jeff. What was that subliminal message @13:56 regarding the blower????? lol.
It was so subliminal I think I missed it.
Ryobi days is worse than last year..I have been switching to Hercules power tools at harbor freight ..i try to avoid home Depot and get better prices at Amazon with free shipping.
I have two of those Dewalt fans, they come with me and the dog camping, they last so long
I love your down-to-earth perspectives on everything. Like with the Nextgrill. All I"m hearing is "BUY WEBER" and I'm like "Yeah they make a quality one but come on man, for the price, I can buy 2-3 of those Nextgrills and for the price of that one Weber.
And you'll have to. But by the time you buy your 4th Nexgrill, you would have still had your Weber. I've got a client with a Genesis that is 12 years old and looks brand new on the outside. He's used it 3-4 times a week for the entire time he's had it, never covers it (it is on a covered deck, but in snow country). I had a Nexgrill for 2 years before it started to fall apart despite being babied. Also had a Brinkman that went straight to the dump after 2 years because the lid sheared off the hinges. Always covered, always kept clean.
@@nickadamson6053 - I don't believe you at all. Why? 1) I don't know you. 2) your claims, both positive and negative, are exaggerated to the extremes with zero modifiers or anything. NOTHING absolutely nothing is as extreme as you claim it is. SO you're over exaggerating and therefore destroying your own credibility.
The truth is more likely that the Nextgrill is no where near as bad as you say it is, despite being babied, and the Weber is no where near looking brand new with being 12 years old. Is it possible you're telling the truth? yeah but only slightly possible. The likelihood is VERY low and the reality is the Weber is likely showing massive amounts of wear that you aren't taking into account and your Nextgrill wasn't babied. You likely have a very bad definition of "being babied".
Besides a 4 burner Weber is $1,600 at Home Depot. I could buy 8 of the NextGrills for that price.
I get it, you're a Weber fan boy so you overstate the Weber and understate the NexGrill....whatever.
I am an assembler 3rd party at home depot the nextgrill brand is decent for the price and the loco griddle does have the digital temperature gauge and is fairly sturdy as far as material sam's club has a better deal on treager
Thanks for the input. If you have any other insight, you think people should know about feel free to email me at red@denoftools.com.
I picked up a Ryobi 18v inflator to keep my four trailer tires and foour truck tires at 65psi. It works good, but if they are down too much you will need to recharge the battery in the middle. But it is set it and forget it and works great! {!-{>
Oh my god NOOOOOOO
I already don’t like my umbrella because spiders like chilling in it. Now I have to worry about the umbrella itself being a giant spider?
Hard pass!!
do you think the dewalt pruning chainsaw is worth the premium over the ryobi? i'm in the ryobi system but don't mind expanding
I would say that it is a better saw, but is it worth it? Maybe if the trees you’re trying to prune our genuine hardwoods but I use a basic Bauer saw myself and it’s never had a problem pruning stuff. I can’t imagine the would be that much better to justify going into another battery platform
@@denoftools thank you so much for the reply! I think what you're saying makes sense. i'm going to stick to cheaper
Thanks for sharing. I like the Atomic line but heard the SDS rotary hammer drill is not great, no chisel
It’s not a super powerful unit. It is a small and compact for smaller jobs.
You had me until watching the Indy 500 I would rather watch paint dry
I was a Weber fan boy decades ago, but their quality went the way of the Dodo bird. That $619 E-315 is no better than any Char-Broil offering.
And even their "Cadillac series" lines have been going down hill. I'll never buy a Weber grill again. Paying for the Weber name with crap quality does not make sense.
The only way I would my Weber is if I was looking for a charcoal grill
My neighbors had next grill and they caught on fire he almost burned his house down if I didn't put out the fire.... this grill is crap
🎉how do these overpriced lawn and power tools compare to Harbor Frieght for a very occasional small project homeowner, not a ProHo.
I’ll be honest, I find that Harbor Freight is a little weak when it comes to outdoor power equipment. I do have some Bauer stuff. For small yards the Bauer OP isn’t bad but for mid to large yards they are kind of lacking. For middle of the road I would probably look at Green Works and for high-end quality. I always recommend ego.
Notably absent is Makita. The best brands don't ever go on sale.
I love my honda mower, it is the best mower i ever had.
Whatsthe status of ryobi days?
Some years it’s been in June some years it’s been in August some years it’s been in July. We really don’t know, but they are clearly soft. Starting it now.
If Honda is exiting small engine manufacturing, I hope someone buys that engine plant and their technology.
GET that $129 DeWalt ATOMIC hammer drill kit.
I live outside of Indy. The 500 has never been televised here.
Why watch it when you can hear it all the way across town! I used to live in the lockerbie square area of town and we could hear every lap.
The mower runs on ICE? how does that work? Some kind of thermal sterling engine?
Ice 🧊 = internal combustion engine
@@denoftools Where I'm from, we just call those engines :)
I heard that Milwaukee 12 V system is better quality than their 18 V system, would you agree?
No, I would not say it’s better quality, but it’s fantastic for the price to weight to performance ratio.
Where the link
In the video description.
@@denoftools each thing?
Do not buy batteries from Home Depot !
I purchased an Exide battery from Home Depot.
Home Depot says it has a two year warranty.
I had one fail, miserably and roughly 6 months.
Home Depot tells me I have to go to the manufacturer does not have a working phone number in the United States!
I’ll go back to Home Depot.
Home Depot tells me to essentially tell me to go salt!
Home Depot could be given their crap away and I will never shop there again!
Beware if you buy Exide batteries from Home Depot there is no warranty!
Yeah it's ashame when honda let the state ca bully them into stop making gas
power equipment
You get what you pay for... If you don't buy a Weber you will be replacing the cheap Chinese internals
I just rebuilt a grill for a friend those internals cost me all of $10. Do you have any idea how often I would have to replace them to justify the cost of the Weber?
Behr paint is trash, sorry. Benjaman Moores mid tier is better than Behrs premium line
The dewalt mower sucks. Works 20 min then dies. Charge for 3hrs then dies again in 20min. Super sensitive when grass is damp. Wasted time and money. It is a cute mower but not effective.
honda..... carbon credits?
Where is the bear?
Went back to the wilds.
🎉
The Ryobi trimmer and blower are the same price right now - don't believe the hype about this "so called" sale.
The sale started yesterday 😏
Wrong about webers …they’re built like tanks
Pretty sure I said as much in the video
Damn everything is so expensive
Honda quality went into the dumpster in 2020.
If the skipper did tool reviews
Don’t you have some Martians to rehydrate?
not a ProHo.. enough said
Keep turning those tricks you’ll get there one day 😂
Sorry, the entire Nexgrill line is crap. It is poorly made with cheap burners and all parts. This grill may last 3 years if that and then it starts to get holes in the base pan and the burners wear out and the entire grill becomes useless. Save your money and buy something better.
Do you actually own this girl? Because there have been comments from people who do own it in fact, one on this video who had it for eight years so far and not had any of the problems that you claim are gonna crop up
@@denoftools I owned one which had all the problems I discussed. When I went to replace it I actually measured the steel and carefully examined all the parts. Everyone ws inferior to charbroiled and other mid tier grills. They have been built to hit a price point, not for quality
Why you no shave?
MEH
Ferrari is junk and expensive...🤣😂
And flammable
I love Americans don't buy American
Memorial Day is actually about honoring our military that has passed not grilling.
