2005 they won the UCL after an amazing comeback... in 2019 they did it again in the semi-finals. Such a shame that they ended up loosing to RMA 6-2 on aggregate. Even though I am an Arsenal fan (have been since 2004) this match had left a mark in me. I started to had respect and a soft spot for Liverpool and I still have that feeling towards them. For the last few years after Klopp (I have massive respect for him) came in and Liverpool's resurgence happened and when it was clear Arsenal wasn't going to win the league I always wanted Liverpool to win the league because Man City is winning it left and right. But this season is the best thing that is happening to Arsenal and for us fans. We are going to play in the champions league next season after 6 years and we are en route to win the premier league. In the last league tie at Anfield we wanted to beat them so bad but kudos to both teams. It was a good match.
I wont grow up as a liverpool fan if my dad never watched this match in 2005, this match is the reason why he became a liverpool fan until now.. he is even travelling to england to watch liverpool matches and his last time he watched it live is when Liverpool faced Real Madrid and lost 5-2 in UCL and we watched 2nd leg in home.
