    I believe I have the same billet jackshaft plate. Is that the 30 series or 40 series torque converter? Great idea. Nice build, thanks for showing that plate.

    How did you get the the valve cover in to the frame I've been beating at it for days and without forcing the engine to lean forward it does not fit

  • @DanDan-vl8kg
    @DanDan-vl8kg Před 4 lety

    I just built a 212cc Mel Lusso has to hammer down the gram a lot. Seem to hold up. It was a lot of work!!!! Aslo have the short headder

    How
    fast does it go? Was it hard to get a kit for it and install it?

  • @biohazard9638
    @biohazard9638 Před 6 lety +1

    Why did you switch from the original torque converter plate? Mine snapped in half and im just trying to find something to hold up..the 79cc plate looks a little weak

    • @jefff163
      @jefff163  Před 6 lety

      Biohazard I also had to swap out the bearings as well and the plate is strong enough snap the drive chain using the tourqe converter.

    • @biohazard9638
      @biohazard9638 Před 6 lety

      jefff163 if it snaps your drive chain, do you have a fastenal nearby? They carry industrial #41 chain. I bought the 10 foot length and its worked very well. It hardly stretches. And when the torque converter snapped in half nothing happened to the chain. It was still one peice

    • @jefff163
      @jefff163  Před 6 lety

      Biohazard no but there is other places for me to get a chain for my bike

    • @biohazard9638
      @biohazard9638 Před 6 lety

      jefff163 yeah but fastenal has proved the best in my area. Tractor Supply also has it but not as good.

    • @jefff163

      You don’t have to flaten the frame like mine is if you can get the engine and the engine mount fit.

    How were you able to put the sprocket behind the torque converter plate?

    • @jefff163
      @jefff163  Před 6 lety +2

      the sprocket that comes with the death row kit from www.gasbike.net is what i used the sprocket was already installed but if you can find a sprocket that fits you can install it by taking the shaft that the pulley goes on out and putting the sprocket on first then reinstall the shaft and pulley.
