Only aspects like crowd blending and low profiling won't be part of Social Stealth. Other aspects, like I assume, Disguises maybe? Might make a return from previous games. Hopefully. But from what I heard also, they're either adding new aspects to Social Stealth, or it just wont be as huge of a focus. I'm not quite sure. But rest assured, Social Stealth is NOT gone. I also heard people at the event will be able to play a demo version of the game with all the booths setup for them. So hoping to see some gameplay from those booth sessions as well.

Not just some paid historians that were only there to make Ubisoft look good. And I'm not talking about that one historian lady they brought on in the early interviews. Cus I'm still gonna get this game regardless. But I do feel bad for Japanese community with their culture, architecture, seasons and history being disregarded. Personally the gameplay we saw, I thought it looked fine but I would really wanna see the difference when everything in the game is historically faithful to the setting, in terms of all those aspects.

Every AC game usually has a really nice open world that's really accurate, even if other aspects are lacking, so Ubisoft should make sure they're doing Japan right with Shadows. Ghost of Tsushima was so accurate and faithful to the region that the devs were made ambassadors of the real Tsushima Island, so Ubisoft should have strived for that level of respect (especially since they're trying to do mainland Japan) but I guess it's way too late now.
I kind of agree with you I’m not sideing neither of them. I just want to play the game and see where the story goes but I think the best option they can do is they could add a third character and make this one the actual samurai and make a retainer that people are saying he is it could be perfect. Think about it Yasuke can be able to infiltrate. Areas that the others can’t. And maybe sabotage. Or listening information on the enemy I know it’s supposed to be the scouters job but it could work and for the third character you could be like a samurai for another faction like Tokugawa clan or the toyoiomi clan because think about it naoe And Yasuke is going after Oda nobunaga and with this third character, they’re gonna have a common enemy but this also means if they do manage to do this they’re gonna have to push back the game a bit further to next year at that also means re-create all the trailers to introduce this new character I don’t really care if they do replace Yasuke I just want an assassin‘s Creed in Japan finally Japan is my favorite country and you say would be a perfect character because according to the history, his master was found dead, and some people believe he was assassinated, or perhaps, killed by one of his own men, and then in the end of all of it vanish and his last known location was at his old masters church I just really hope people start forgetting about this when the game comes out
I like your idea, a third character would be cool especially since we've had 2 characters in a few AC games already. I guess the only problem would be that it'd be hard to balance all 3 characters equally in the story even if they delayed it. I don't care too much about Yasuke, I mean it's cool to have him but he could have easily been an actual samurai like Hattori Hanzo (who is already in the AC lore and is a ninja as well) who has a really cool design. Ubisoft choosing Yasuke feels like they're admitting that they can't write an actual Japanese samurai better than Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima so they had to go a different approach. If they were going to add a third character like you suggested, it would be so cool if they were a Templar ronin so they could be different from Yasuke. Playing both sides of the story like The Last of Us 2 could have allowed for a deep and fresh story that really focuses on the Assassins and Templars, which the new games lack alot of. If Shadows ends up being a good game, then I'm sure everyone will just ignore the controversy and enjoy the game for what it is, but Ubisoft has disappointed us in the past so I'm not holding too much hope lol. I don’t think you can compare this game to ghost of Tsushima because it’s Ubisoft ofc they will copy a lot of the aspects from one of the greatest samurai games I am just saying I don’t think it’s fair to compare the two
I agree but it's inevitable that it will get compared which is why I did, but I also tried to focus more on the "Assassin" part coz that's where it can shine. It's sad though because low-key if Shadows was made by Ubisoft 10 years ago, it would probably be held up like Ghost of Tsushima is now, considering Black Flag is still seen as like the best pirate game ever. Bru, nice vid but you do realize unblockabke attacks are in many games, how you said it's a straight copy of Ghost is bewildering, as for the UI, you didn't so enough homework many of the last AC games have abilities with squared icons with the UI , especially Valhalla
Ik alot of other games have unblockable attacks but you can't deny the red signal looks very similar to Ghost (maybe not the parry symbol though). Also that's my bad then, I didn't get that far into Valhalla so I wouldn't remember the UI and now that I think about it, the square icons remind me of the health bars from AC Brotherhood just yellow. Thank you for addressing the yasuke controversy. I'm tired of people complaining about Yasuke and using "historical inaccuracy" to shield the fact that they're only motivation for not wanting him in the game is their hatred towards black people

I personally think: Since you are an associate professor of the law department, you should study and guide freshmen about law instead of publishing and tampering with historical works. I liked origins but I didn't like Valhalla that much and I heard alot of people say that they like odyssey way more than Valhalla. @@1dleRunner I didn't buy MIRAGE because I don't like it after checking on youtube...but ODYSSEY with all the upgrade takes you about 200 hours...but I finished it at least 10 times with NEW GAME PLUS the story of the game which lasts only 40 hours...I also played VALHALLA but a little weaker as a game but I knew that before I bought it...but for me the best game of my life is A.C ODYSSEY...and than RDR 2 and BATMAN ARKHAM KNIGHT,A.C ORIGINS în this order...and RDR 2 is about 1000 hours to complete all activities..

Well I've only really had experience with Origins' level system and from what I remember it wasn't that bad but I hear that odyssey and Valhalla's ones get really grindy and force you to do a bunch of side quests. From the gameplay, it doesn't seem like it matters TOO much though (can probably overcome the level diff with skill) and thankfully Naoe can one shot guards with the Hidden Blade so yeah hopefully it shouldn't ruin the game.

Oh yea and how do you feel that they kept the level system
