I'm from orange county CA, had my first bug in 1980, it was stolen from the beach Boys concert at the queen Mary, 1981 I'm 62 this August and still drive a cal look 67 beetle except I live in Sonoma County now. I would like to see a video about RK Smith, the best hot vws photographer ever!!!

I recall an even older issue of Hot Rod Magazine that featured VW’s. Can’t recall the year, but could be in the 80’s.
Google “Volkswagen Classics” magazine. It was put out by Hot Rod Magazine.
