Moto is killing it with it's new releases. Kudos to them for making OIS, stereo speakers, 5G, punch hole, stock android, and no useless 2mp cameras mainstream under 20k.
I lost my phone but if I didn't lose my old phone this is better than G73 5G. Also motorola should start providing 2 OS updates for G series smartphones.
2 os updates & amoled display would have made this a hot seller. Buyers now a days don't just run behind specs, instead they want good software support & a overall balanced performance.
but considering the competition , its too much to ask for both of these , two year os update would have make it a good deal at this price , although since it ain't got any good rival its still a good phone in my opinion
LCD might not get the punchiest saturation but cheaper to repair than amoled when the display break (coming from the personal experience). Other than the shorter software update, I find this phone non compromising.
MAJOR drawback i found in these Moto phones is that during a call the loudspeaker is only working with bottom firing speaker so that makes the sound fairly low ...just keep that in mind

Where are we heading? All mobile phone which cost under 20k have been downgraded by their previous version... those were good days 120hz amoled panel proper 64 mp camera under 20k
its becoz of 5g, previous they were on 4g chipset which was cheaper, but 5g chipset are relatively expensive so its obvious to cut corners since they are not able to raise the bar, becoz then they have to raise the price too, so thats why previous 20k phones with 4g was better than todays 20k phones with 5g.

Using the Moto G54 for about a week now, and I've seen all sorts of reviews. Let me clear any doubts if you have any. 1. Heating Issue: Yes, it does heat up, but those who have used smartphones with a good processor before will know that this heat is common. It doesn't overheat, just normal heating. At most, it reached 37 for me, and that too when I was watching HD content for about 4 hours with the charger on. 2. Gaming: I don't do gaming on this, as it wasn't made for it. Although casual gaming is decent, but why bother buying this if your priority is gaming? 3. Camera: In low light, it's below average. By low light, I mean a room with one bulb, and that too in the evening. With proper lighting, it takes some really good photos. 4. Battery lasts long enough. Shouldn't be a concern. 5. Performance: Not sure about the 8 GB variant, but in the 12 GB one, about 4500 MB RAM is used by the system. So my take would be to go for the 12 GB one to future-proof yourself. Last one is just personal preference. I don't like the side mounted fingerprint sensor.
Go for moto bro. I'm commenting from M34 5g and heating issues are there while multitasking. For normal usage like social media, multimedia consumption its fine. You CAN'T be gaming using this.
Samsung phones are good but they are not user-friendly. No charger, no protective case and Exynos chip are some of the issues I have with it. But it has arguably better display.
The negative thing with Motorola ia that there is so much of delay in updates. For example my father's moto g42 still haven't received Android 13 when we have Android 14 about to get launched. In a few months devices will be coming with Android 14 on board. However this device is good qt 14.5 k

One tiny snag - the fingerprint sensor can be a bit sluggish sometimes, which gets annoying. To fix that, I'm thinking about a screen protector with built-in fingerprint tech from gadgetshieldz. Protects the screen from scratches and keeps the phone unlocking like a champ - win-win!
Using for 6 months this phone is good but please apply front screen guard as its front display is little weak as it has panda glass amd not gorilla glass. I dropped it from about 2 meters and the front glass break a litte. Im not saying phone is weal but its better to apply screen guard on this device

Lol. You can't see a difference between 1080p and 4k on FHD+ display. You are just wasting data if you are playing 4k videos on an 1080p display. I have seen couple of Sony smartphones with 4k display, only they can be used to watch 4k content.

The reason they are giving a 6000 mAh battery is because of dimensity 7030, it consumes more power. Whereas in g84 they don't have to increase battery capacity and can reduce the weight.

The LCD killed this one for me, G84 is the obvious one to get. Much better for slightly more money.

Moto Android 13 myux runs dual apps via secure folder, it should be a part of this phone.

Few Moto phones have calling, mic, network, speaker problems and green/pink lines on Poled/Amoled. Could be due to the updates but yeah they Do exist.

For a multi-media user, g52 is still a better option. It has a pOLED display, thinner bezels and light weight design.
