The battery drain in idle isn't that great, but while usage, it's good and last better than most phones.good in 4g and bad in 5g, as most of the mobiles these days suffer in 5g. I bought s23 ultra. Comparing battery, it's almost 80% of s23 ultras battery life. There is not much difference in performance compared to s23 ultra. I still prefer s23 over s23 ultra due to its compact size. It's the best phone i have ever used. Try it. U will surely love it.

You know what's strange is the mentality that "OMG I MUST HAVE THE LATEST AND GREATEST" when the smartest individuals will understand that there's nothing wrong with last year's flagships compared to the current ones. We have literally reached a point of stagnation in hardware, it's only the software that is pushing the newer phones (lol AI my arse). S23 is still an amazing phone, and with it still receiving OS updates for years, it's a GREAT time to buy it. Heck I'd argue the S22 series are just as valuable now as the S23s. As a s23 user ,I agree to most of the points said in video . Battery life acc to me is okk okk not good I need to charge it almost 2 & 2½ time a day without gaming charging speed is also a issue acc to me . Size wise it's so good to hold/use. Cameras are impressive specially portraits . Screen is very bright in direct sunlight. Speakers are not loud but they are clear & rich .
If you want an iphone 13 pro alternative, buy it. Using it for a year now. The battery optimises itself overtime according to usage. I've capped it at 85% and it still gives me enough. Best small phone to exist

I'm getting very good battery backup. Mostly, I do calls, listen to music, emails, and WhatsApp, still getting full above one day backup. S23 is a small beast. Full day WiFi gives me almost two days backup.

Been using this phone for almost a year now. Solid experience. I don't say that about many phones but this is super solid. The only downside being the battery drain. I have more than 120 apps installed so the battery drain is a bit more than I'd like it to be.

Got the s23 256 gb for 49k last month. One of the best choices that i have made. I'd recommend to buy the 256 gb variant instead of 128gb (ufs 3.1) because of ufs 4.0 and the storage doesnt fill up that fast if you take a lot of pictures and videos. Also, its not a SMALL phone. It's just the right size for daily use.

Got S23 a month ago I am not a gamer but I've started playing BGMI since I got S23. If you play at high graphics with high frame rates, yes battery drains really fast. So what I did is I have set graphics to smooth and frame rate to medium and the gameplay is really stable and if I play it for 2 hours then battery drain is like 45 to 50 %

The camera has a weird banana out of focus issue while clicking pictures of close texts or documents. Not a deal breaker but still. And the battery is quite average.

Im using the S23 for several months now and it easily gives a SOT of 5-6 hrs. Since this is a compact phone with small battery it is not meant for heavy gaming. For casual user its a great phone and easily last me a full day.

To optimize battery life, I have disabled the always-on display feature and set the display refresh rate to 60Hz. As a result, I consistently achieve remarkable screen-on time of 6 to 7 hours, even with approximately 15 to 20 minutes of gaming. Typically, I charge the device twice a day, from approximately 15% to 80% battery level, which takes a maximum of 30 minutes. To date, I have not encountered any battery-related issues, eliminating the need for a power bank.
For me I use the adaptive 120Hz on my phone, always on display is ON, and sometimes the location turned on as well. Also I charge to 100. Still I get 4-5 hours of SOT which is incredible for this phone with only 3900mah battery.
I made the switch from being an Apple phone user since 2010 to the Samsung S23. I was initially skeptical about the operating system and the size of the phone. However, it has turned out to be the best investment I have made.

Perfect phone for the day 2day task and very good Battery life if you don't play Game and not too much into social media.
My phone easily stays 8-10 hrs which is very good battery life.

I am using s23 256 gb. Got it for around 60 at launch. Also have iphone 12 mini. Iphone battery dies in 20 minutes. Samsung is working well. Better processor than pixel. Snapdragon is efficient.
So you are telling me Xiaomi 14 build quality is not good but s23 does
