Hard to argue with that Panda Dunk take. Great convo with KO.

Great podcast. I like that KO started and pretty much ended with the concept that a shoe should be available or attainable by everyone. Hence Panda Dunk SOTY that had continues to have restocks monthly. Marco when the AJ4 military blue first released the shoe was attainable/available to just about anyone who wanted them. I luv looking at the collabs and limited release kicks but it sucks that the brands and collabs are too interested in the number of instead of the quantity of. If Nike had done that with any of the 80-90’s Jordan releases and restocks we wouldn’t even have that huge of a community wanting those silhouettes. No matter what anyone says Nike and the Jordan brand created this huge culture. Collabs like the limited amount of Lobsters are ridiculous. Even I want a pair but I want to pay retail instead of the enormous resell amount. When the panda first released the resell market was high. Now it’s very close to retail. It’s easy for individuals like you Marco who can pull a couple of strings and either get pairs for free, retail or close to retail. So being a voice of the community I think you should think more like KO who seems to want the community to grow instead of staying exclusive so you can brag about what “grail” you have that probably less than 5% of the community can attain. I’m kool with only 2 eBay dunks being in existence as a back story but making a very limited quantity after hyping the shoe does nothing truly for the growth and sustainability of the shoe community.
