    Following its long awaited debut during the GWSR's "Cotswold Festival of Steam" gala last month, New Build GWR 'Grange' 4-6-0 No. 6880 'Betton Grange' was rostered to work the line's regular services until mid June. Its visit, courtesy of the 6880 Society, marked the first runs of a 'Grange' in nearly 60 years, this GWR 4-6-0 design once being a regular sight over the Honeybourne Line until steam on the Western Region ended in 1965.
    This video features 6880 operating on GWSR metals over the 16th, 18th and 19th of June, the latter being its last rostered day of operation before the loco departed for West Somerset. It's been a delight to see a 'Grange' on familiar territory once more, with the added novelty (at the time of publishing) of it being Britain's newest steam locomotive, too!
    Locations (in order);
    Broadway, Laverton Meadows, Didbrook and Hayles Abbey (x2)
