Science fiction/Action adventure/Space. Created by Gene Roddenberry. Starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley (Kirk, Spock and Dr. McCoy) - Norway Productions and Desilu Productions produced the series from September 1966 to December 1967. Paramount Television produced the show from January 1968 to June 1969. Star Trek aired on NBC from September 8, 1966, to June 3, 1969. It was first broadcast on September 6, 1966, on Canada's CTV network. Star Trek's Nielsen ratings while on NBC were low, and the network cancelled it after three seasons and 79 episodes. Several years later, the series became a hit in broadcast syndication, remaining so throughout the 1970s, achieving cult classic status and a developing influence on popular culture. Star Trek eventually spawned a franchise, consisting of eight television series, 13 feature films, and numerous books, games, and toys, and is now widely considered one of the most popular and influential television series of all time.
"Requiem for Methuselah" is the nineteenth episode of the third season of the American science fiction television series Star Trek. Written by Jerome Bixby and directed by Murray Golden, it was first broadcast on February 14, 1969.
In the episode, the crew of the Enterprise encounters an immortal human.
Its repeat broadcast, on September 2, 1969, was the last official telecast of the series to air on NBC. Star Trek immediately appeared in syndication on the following Monday, September 8, a full three years after its debut.

Damn, Star Trek had some babes.
Oh yeah, they did. That’s when I started having my crush on Joan Collins long ago.

Add to that the miniskirts...the result is GREAT LEGS!!
Yeah they did.
🖖😍 Yes they most truly did indeed!
One jumping around. The Gallo shuttle and Maddie. Rhue were the babes
I've loved this episode since I was 9 years old. I'm 67 now and named my beautiful cat Rayna.❤❤❤
Kirks a dawg! Watch out for the Spock block!
I just fell in love with an android 😄😁🇺🇲
A Pool Table in Star Trek.
Louise Sorel...She did an interview in 2022 that's on CZcams where she mentioned that she still receives mail, and can tell it's photographs, from playing this role of Rayna. She also stated that no one had any idea how big Star Trek would become. In the same interview, she mentioned that she and Kirk had played husband and wife in an earlier episode of Route 66.
If Kirk had a credit for every time he was trapped on a planet with beautiful androids, he’d have 3 credits.
Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened thrice.
Phineas and Ferb.
Out of all of Kirk's women, Rayna is the finest. Smart, beautiful, innocent.
Next to a young Joan Collins episode, this lady playing Rayna was the next best and the next episode after this one had a woman who looked almost like her...the Thralls episode......quatludes to you too!!!
@@dayewalker9408Louise Sorel ( RIP ).
Not a woman. Artificial person.
This guy reminded me of Tony Curtis even back then.😊
waaaaaaaay better & a true family man
Forgot her name...she did a soap called "Santa Barbara".
Louise Sorel.
@@louiebee6745She's 84 now. Man what time does to us.
vaguely remember this episode...the older dude reminds me of Lawrence Oliver ~ but I know he's not....excellent series.....watch them all in the mid 60's....NBC, channel 6, Thursdays nite, 7;30pm ...always....
I remember this episode because in my opinion it contained on of the greatest scenes ever!
She was gorgeous.
I'm trying to rmbr her name... she had a major role in long running soap. Darn good actress.
I had to use Google, her name is Louise Sorel.
And yes she is beautiful here.
Rayna Kopic. 🎉❤ The most gorgeous android ever. Ah, but as soon as she achieves sentience, she dies of emotional turmoil.
@@andrewpetik2034 yep. Now I rmbr 😆 Thx
Great episode! TOS still the best.
She is very beautiful. But wow, James Daly was very charismatic and handsome! I thought I recognized him, until I realized his face was just giving off Sean Connery vibes. 😂
Nice 2 know that even in the
23rd Century, we can still enjoy
an Old World 🌎 game of
20th century Pool 🎱.
One of my favorite episodes
This is Louise Sorel(Rayna) who made an appearance in the original Star Trek series, Season 3 Episode 19, "Requiem for Methuselah"and Aired Feb 14, 1969. Louise Sorel along with Lee Merriweather in "That Which Survives", Aired Jan 4 1969 and Julie Newmar , "Friday's Child" Aired , Dec1st, 1967 sre probably the the most beautiful women in all of the Star Trek Universe and among the most beautiful in the world in the late 60's.
Reqremum For Mathusla it aired earlier tonight on H&I With Guest Stars James Daily and Louis Sorelle I remember her from the daytime soap Santa Barbara. James is the late Father of actors Tim and Tyne Daily.
🖖😎👍Kirk always falling for the wrong most beautiful woman as always indeed!.
Always
About half of the beautiful women in original series are androids
Requiem for Methuselah
Did Kirk do the dirty deed with that one?
We come in peace! Shoot to kill. Life, but not as we know it. It’s worse than that! He’s dead Jim! I canna change the law of physics Cap’n! Funniest shit I’ve heard!😂
I have come to kiss the Kirk
Love REQUIEM FOR METHUSELAH.
Is that an actual billiard table (no pockets)
I think it's called a Snooker table.
You pointed your phone camera at a TV? Totally crap video.
When Captain Kirk fell a little short of being captain Kirk
He went nuts over a machine.
