I never seen anybody used the same broken feather as a imping needle, very interesting.

Finally a imping vid that is worth something! Thank You! Myself, I use guitar string, pounded flat on two sides so it bend in one axis. But the old ways are really good.

I had a red lored Amazon who came to me woth such severe malnutrition the main flight feathers were gone from folicle damage. Freddie had gout too. I tried desperately to find an avian vet who could help do something like this. Whether or not it could have been done we'll never know. After 11 joyous years together, he left for the other side.

Hi. Thank-you for posting this video.
I rescued a young abandoned nestling which was bodily bald down one side with a weaker leg & foot in comparison to the other side. It's now two months old, still bald with weaker footwork down that side. Just as it was sorting its footwork out via the lift from her wings ( of which both were good ) one by one, it has broken all her primary flight feathers down her weaker side (where it kept falling over and pushing back up again.) Although it stands ok, It now scrabbles around the ground in circles as powered by its intact, good wing. It's all heartbreaking to watch. I have thought about clipping the good wing to even its balance, but i think it needs every chance to learn to fly in its infancy. I might try your approach here listed, so can you please advise on which type of glue to use? Thank-you for any advice you can offer.

The texts are removed too quickly not giving enough time to read them. Didn't learn much.
