  • Ran up to the Abandoned Hotel in Taurito, Gran Canaria October 2023. Construction was abandoned in 2007 after the World financial crisis and the shell has been exposed to the elements since then. Much of the hotel looks unsafe particularly those areas held by metal struts. After exploring I walked up the forbidden road which has been closed since 2017 due to a rockfall destroying the local road to Mogan. Forgive the breathing on this video I did run in 28C heat and felt a bit uneasy. This was the second time I explored this hotel and on this occasion I did feel a presence and that there was something wanting me to leave up there. At the 04:55 minute mark is where I stop for a few seconds and have most unease and consider leaving. As I start walking I hear metallic sound which I actually heard twice. I also start to get crackling interference on the iPhone mic after that in this area - again not experienced before. The metallic sound was like someone hammering metal and was extremely close / not muffled but found no explanation. When I left this side of the hotel the crackling interference stopped. I had a read if there had been any accidents either during construction or after abandonment in case this was a known location for paranormal activity but didn't find any.

Know the area well, intrigued as to why it’s been at this stage for so long. What happened, what’s the reason ??

I was up here today. Think it was in the 2008 recession bankers pulled the money. Workers downed tools and left. In 2016 I think they closed the road after it was prone to rock slides

      Te mury to utopione pieniądze.
Mogło to już przyjmować gości pod ponad 10 lat.
      Szkoda.
Droga, liczyłem że ją zrobią, bo jechać do Mogan z Taurito trzeba pojechać najpierw do Puerto Rico.
      Dzięki za film.

@@mm-1965the journey to Mogan by car can take up to 40 minutes now. Used to be a 5 minute drive round the coastal road. Shame, doubt it will ever be restored and made safe
