My wife was watching over my shoulder and commented at the end of the intro, "That's like a cheesy porno plot for woodworkers." She's got a point.
Well ya have to justify all the drilling, nailing, and screwing!
@@happyundertaker6255 Can't forget nutting together legs
She actually has a problem with that?
How did she know it was like a porno plot?
@@MrKockabilly what! Girls can't watch porn?
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection czcams.com/users/postUgkxkNYRBJuiJ6EwD-tQSAlxg0eFKsnR2cgz I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seems to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
I would enjoy seeing a video of you taking care of all your tools preventative maintenance on your planters and jointers sharpening blades replacing etc.
Love that you showed the mistakes. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that makes them. I also learn by seeing how you repair or find a solution! Thanks man!
"This is the closest I will ever come to making a river table"
*next week on Bourbon Moth* White Oak River Table
I was just about to go to bed.. Now I have to watch this... Not complaining or anything ofcourse
Was just thinking the same myself 🤣🤣🤣
This happens everytime in Europe... I love it!
@@d0tt my videos normally go up at 7pm gmt on Saturdays 🤣🤣🤣
Same here, , , ,
Of course
Rice Whiskeys, nice!
The ending should have been, “oh man, now I need to make outdoor chairs!” ;-)
I got to say, you have the best introduction and music to anyone else that I follow. 👍👏
Come on yall!! That's a hell of an intro!! Lol!!
I made my first and worst cabinet this week with so many mistakes but your videos have been really helpful!
You SOB! I snorted when you, "nutted" your rod in place! Well done, your ability to throw stuff together and think on the fly is inspiring.
Actually when you build enough stuff, thinking on the fly isn't that hard. Been there done that, at some time in the past.
The best woodworker on YT. Once again fab u lous
Now that is the breakfast of champions!!!
When Watching your videos i never know what ur on about but its fun none the less
Loved watching this, definitely going to make one and because you've done all the hard work of ironing out any possible mistakes this old granny shouldn't have too much difficulty making it too.
I absolutely LOVE watching and listening to your videos. You are amazing at wood working and also at teaching!
You are a heck of a guy bro, congrats, good old ,simple, good work.
Bourbon Krispies for the win!
The opening alone ... Exactly my sense of humor 😂
Please keep going that way, I love your videos.
Greetings from Germany!
I enjoyed this video, not just because this is an awesome table, but because you’re funny. Thank you for making woodworking fun 🤣
I'm really glad I'm not the only one who just looks around the shop for something round when I need to draw a radius on something.
All woodworkers deserve this video a watch✊👀✊
I know who you are!!! Your are Shakespeare if woodworking! That is who you are!
the “nutted my rod in place” was simply... epic! 💗 😂
What a great way to make something so big easy to store. Thanks for all the great content!
Materials cost 1 year ago: $100 tops. Materials cost today: $500 minimum. 3/4 construction grade ply was $89/ea at HD this evening. CDX sheathing used to be $9.89 and is now $58.99...
Awesome design! Loved the video. :)
Shakespeare in a woodworking video. Perfect.
Great idea! Loved the look of it and convenience of folding function. As usual one more fantastic project completed. Thanks for sharing.
Love the full commit on the intro! Even got the rug!
Nice video and really appreciate seeing the process, the mistakes and the fixes! From my NW experience for outdoor table I suggest to cover it when not in use (Classic Accessories is one brand I know that makes outdoor furniture covers) and put some coating/wax finish to avoid permanent food/drink stains. I didn't do this for my first table and had to replace it way too quickly.
Those GRK's that you switch to when lagging the cross pieces to the legs are amazing. I use them on anything and everything that is outside or needs to be strong.
The GRK lag bolts are great also. Used them to build shelving in my garage, and I’m sure that the structure will outlive the house itself.
HEATHEN! Putting that nasty stuff in a perfectly good bowl of rice krispies & bourbon! The table looks awesome and will be attempting it as soon as I have my shop again (hate renting places)
Now THAT is a great looking new SawStop! Congrats on finally unboxing it and setting it up!!
SawStop? He said he got it from Harbor Freight.
This guy screws.. nuts.. pulls his rod in and out of things... What a stud
i did my first wood working project because of you.. built-in cabinets and box shelves with lights in them.. i just bought a plan from you to give back.. thanks!!!!
Eagle Rare for the win!
"Amazing what you can get done when you do everything twice" 🤪
Now I really need to try Bourbon in my cereal :D
In loving memory of the espresso and bourbon spill in this video😂
The legend says he drank it and then shot the scene with water ... I would've done it that way.
That Intro through 🤣🤣
I normally drink the coffee and eat the cereal ... but to each his own ... lol, nice table though 🤣
Depends how much bourbon you have had 🤣🤣
Thanks a lot! I had to clean up the coffee I spit out laughing at the river table comment.
Like the many before me, I pray no whisky was harmed in the making of this video. Very nice table and much classier than the standard patio or deck table. Keep up the good work and the fun videos.
Well done Jason, I really enjoyed watching this unfold! 😉👍🏻👊🏻
I do like your work, Jason. A nice blend of serious and fun. Thank you for sharing and keep it up 🌞
Hey mr. BMW!
I think you have the best videos available for woodworkers. I really just love your videos.
I think I will do exactly the same table for my father in law as well.
Thank you for your videos and keep up the spirit !!!
Greetings from Estonia,
Taavi.
The bourbon!!! Please tell me no bourbon was harmed during the making of this video!
Holy crap. Something I can actually build. Hope plans are available. I can definitely afford cedar and I have a Home Depot. First time I’ve seen Jason buy wood at Home Depot. Haha
The added time for humor to watch your videos is actually worth it. Keep up the exceptional job!
it sprinkles... It "Rains" it Iowa... It "rains" in Arizona.... It drizzles and sprinkles here in Oregon! Don't believe the propaganda!
Love your videos!
You need to come over and help me organize my wood shop!~
Loved it Jason - lot of fun to watch
I've watched a ton of your videos and have learned so much. However after watching you make your cereal with eagle rare whiske I knew that my destiny Of starting my own woodworking business Will Be fulfilled. Eagle rare whiskey is my favorite whiskey thank you for your videos kind sir. Next time don't spill the liquid gold.
just ran across your channel and have watched several videos which are great.... the funny part was I didn't have the audio on when I started the first video and I was like - yikes, what a geek. then I turned the audio on and I thought wow, what a great melodious voice that wood geek has and his explanations for the geeky woodworking are awesome. Of course I'm partial to geeks
Just the project I was looking for!!!
That looks like a million bucks! Literally!
Now ... the chairs!
I did something similar for a campsite dishwashing station. Except it was built with pine and came out like crap. Drawings available by special order.
Now that's how you dress Krispies.
Simple, efficient and pretty nice to look at!
Manly breakfast right there
Time for some folding benches 😎
That intro was magnificent
Really beautiful table. Thanks for the video inspiration!
5:27 we call it the mark 1 eyeball in aviation
I did that a couple of months ago. I set in the office recliner and thought I need a table for my drink and 30 minutes later I had the crappiest pallet wood table holding said drink. It did the job.
When you use a Forster bit to recess the heads of the screws it is a counterbore. I love your videos
Eagle rare is my favorite regular drinking bourbon… really anything from buffalo trace is great!
Very nice job turned out very unique and very nice. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend . Keep Making. God Bless.
I hear ya on the grayed out cedar, but if you ever change your mind, I used Sikkens Cetol 1 and Cetol 23 on a log home with cedar beams and it turned out amazing. Expensive, but awesome results. I used the same on a three car garage with cedar doors. Customer was very happy. Maintenance coat is every 3-4 years.
Sikkens is legit!
There's nothing like a drop of bourbon in your cereals in the morning!! Lol!!!
Very nice. My wife is going to love the one I make, thanks!
Lovely table
Very nice... Great build... Thanks for doing what you do...
Great job en Tanks for you vidéo
From 🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪
Never change. You’re informative AND entertaining.
"This is the closest I will ever come to making a river table.....". Thanks! Spilled my coffee after I got it!... XD
I build a lot of picnic tables and absolutely love this table. I would like to build one and then build some benches to match that also fold up as well.
Ohhhh he loves sanding so much.......... great one again mister Hibbs!
Solid table that folds up for a nice compact space saving design! Keep up the great work as the goal is for us to continue to inspire others to build something awesome! 👍🏼
I love the inconspicuous picnic table cloth on the ground there for easy clean up! 🤣😂
How does a 30 minute video feel like it was only 5 minutes long? It's just that good. I love all the attention to detail, and this is a nice change to have something with exposed hardware looking a little more industrial.
That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet - Shakespeare {that is absolutely wonderful ahah}
I really like this design! If I had a need for it I would build one.
Your video are awesome and incredibly inspiring. Keep 'em coming
Jason's pretty buff. but it looks like moving that table gave him a good workout.
Really cool design.
love it great build thank you
Lol just spit up my coffee during that opening scene 🤣🤣🤣 Love watching your content
Love that you show the mistakes! Awesome video my friend. Keep up the great work.
Love the table. Thanks for an idea
Breakfast 'O Champions!!!
Gotta love fellow PNW woodworkers! Love the channel!!
That was a very nice video and a very smart garden table. Loved the intro. If it was my table, I think I would have stained it or oiled it. If you spill something on it, like coffe, whiskey or fat of some kind, it will be sucked into the wood and that will make nasty stains.
It's an outdoor table. Who cares? Besides that gives it character.
Absolutely you are the best my friend👌👍👏
Love this I’ll be purchasing the plans
That million dollar table looks good.
Though all your videos are pretty amazing, I'm washing dishes and hear you quote Shakespere. Then confirmed that you did indeed quote Shakespere in a woodworking shop. You definitely are that kind of guy. So freaking dope!
I’ve been watching all the teaser videos on Instagram
This is an awesome outdoor table thanks for posting aka capergal 🇨🇦
Wonderful video. Wish i had your workshop!
