Before this streak I never watch pistons games, now I watch every game they play 😂
Arizona and Purdue are co-favorites to win the national championship. I wonder if either team could beat the Pistons. The Cats match up well because Caleb Love and Cade Cunningham are on the same skill level. I think it'd go down to the wire, especially since Arizona has NBA size, unlike some of these tiny run and gun teams.

On top of that the Celtics also have played the most games against teams that are above .500 and have the most wins against teams above .500. They are 17-5 with 3 of them being OT loses against those teams that are above .500.

The fact that they're consistently losing close games tells you that they're not as bad as their record indicates, they just don't know how to make those two or three winning plays to close a game. Whether it be a rebound, a shot, a defensive stop, that extra pass, etc. that gets a team to the finish line

Winning the division is the real accomplishment for the Lions. They've made the playoffs a couple times in the last 30 years but haven't won a playoff game. Still need to actually get a playoff game victory to break that drought.

That's funny because I was thinking of placing the exact same bet that you placed. I ended up live betting Arizona football against OU to start the 4th quarter and Oregon basketball when USC trimmed the lead to 6 points in the 2nd half. Sports betting is easy if you make the right moves. Rutgers over Miami was a lock, but I can't bet on in-state teams and didn't feel like making a twenty-five minute drive to NY just for that.

I’ve been tuning in because of this losing streak, and let me tell ya ….I noticed a lot of dumb turnovers as the Celtics were coming back…. Especially from killian hayes…. I was rolling 😂… I couldn’t believe it…. Every possession is magnified and you can see the errors they make… it’s quite entertaining… you can see bad basketball all around… only bogda and cunningham have IQ

It was a hard fought game….but shouldn’t have even gotten to OT. TOs in the 3rd killed us. Killian Hayes was playing for the Celtics. Lack of a quality bench (especially big man), we cannot close out games. Definitely need a bucket getter or better execution

Kevin Knox killed y’all shooting 6 threes missed them ALL. Bojan took 20 shots and couldn’t even score 18 points. Alec Burke made 4 threes but took way too many attempts with 12. Killian Hayes is unplayable and Monty Williams can’t seem to realize that. Starting Kevin Knox is a head scratcher. Cade fell off the edge of a cliff in the second half compared to the first. Just an all around horrible team
They had the Celtics on the ropes… Either they relaxed due to 19pt lead or lost their aggressiveness… Likely due to Jrue Holiday sticking to Cade Cunningham like glue in the second half.

I’m hoping a few of these players will be gone at trade deadline (Hayes, Knox, Wiseman). Pistons starting 5 in past games we’re head scratchers, but I think they were trying to advertise players to be trade pieces. Haven’t seen many blowouts, hence why I don’t say horrible team. But definitely a L is an L

Why are you hating on Monte. They played great tonight against the best team in the NBA. Only issue with Monte is he gives Killian Hayes too much playing time. I remember when they wanted him gone before the bubble and the Suns turned it around. But to be fair, Udoka deserved the money Monte got. Udoka’s team focus on defense. If the Celtics had this lineup and Udoka, I think they could run off a two peat. They have the lineup to beat Denver, Milwaukee etc.
Monte cant make their shots for them lol coach can only do so much. Move some youth and get some vets with winning experience and they'll get better.

As a warriors fan, I haven't watched a pistons game all season, but yesterday I watched them vs the celtics, it was a roller coaster of a game till the very end. It was fun to watch them lose, and not in a mean way either. I cant explain it, but overall watching history unfold after 78 years of the NBA, this franchise will definitely make a mark on history like no one has ever seen. I'm sure during the off season there will be big changes from ownership, to management, ect.. the players themselves were great in the beginning but it was the finish is what mattered most.

As a Celtics fan, no one should be accusing Detroit of giving up or not trying. Those guys were playing hard. To go into Boston is tough. To go into Boston as the worst team in the NBA is even tougher. They went and played their best and brought the best team in the NBA to overtime on their home court.
What I see here is a young team that has some poor rotations and poor focus in stretches. When they're locked in, they look energetic and hard charging, just like a young team should. Then they have lapses, can't find a bucket and struggle to get stops. This is pretty typical for a young team figuring out not just how they fit together, but also how the NBA works. Also, as much as I like Monty, I'm not sure he is the best coach for this team.

To be fair, The pistons are the most feared team in the NBA. Nobody wants to lose to them and break the streak.
I was watching the game last night and was pissed at my Celtics. Pistons were playing very well and fought hard. Unfortunately a few errors ended up costing them the game. And of course, Boston went on a huge run in the second half and Detroit was never able to recover.
Cunningham is a very good player. Hopefully they can turn it around soon!

After watching Pistons games, I noticed that they always play GREAT in the first half of like every game and then the second half they suddenly start missing open shots/layups and constantly turn the ball over. It gotta be frustrating and sickening to be a Pistons fan right now, I truly feel bad for em and feel even more bad for the players who are about to be on the wrong side of history🤦♂️ also I do t know why they would say the Pistons best chance is against the Spurs on January 10th when they play the Raptors on December 30th, I’ll say they have a good chance against them tbh.
