Deans hot girl summer montage made me so sad and nostalgic of how much I love and miss him
he didn’t deserve to be taken out by a rusty nail, holy shit. like, yeah, the finale was laughably bad and i will never stop cracking up at it but i grew up with this character and they did him so dirty.
The ending wasnt bad at all, its the little thing that he gets killed just by a rusty nail, and he accepted it, not a demon or supernatural creature, just the nail and he was ready to die, also they said it themselve that they will only be free in heaven

I grew up with his character as well and I loved the ending. It felt right to me, though it admittedly had some flaws. But we always knew Dean was gonna be the one to die in the end, it’s literally implied the ENTIRE show. I do wish they had him killed protection Sam in some way, which would’ve been more poetic, but still Dean dying on a routing monster hunt was a moment that had been talked about and hinted at for the entire series. And Sam got to do what he had always wanted to do, what Dean never fully felt comfortable doing, which was have a family and grow old. I would’ve liked a better final fight, would’ve liked more references to earlier episodes, but still I felt the finale was almost perfect. Even Cas’s death felt well done and right to me. But to each their own, not hating or anything.

His death was honestly the first screen death that truly brought me to tears

Am I the only person who actually liked 15x19????? 15x20 can go to super hell, but 15x19 wrapped up the story quite nicely; it actually gave us closure to the season long arc
I just think it dosent make since that they can defeat God himself and yet he gets killed by a vampire. A thing he has literally fought and killed so many times. That said I loved the dialogue while dean died. I loved that sam got to live a life, and I liked how it ended. I just dont like that they killed him.
I agree, it was kinda nice (episode 19). I don't know why everyone wants it to end on epi 18, where everyone's depressed, in 19 they're content (but omg epi 20 can go to purgatory 😭)

Tbh, Dean could have MADE pie in season 7 and used a homemade substitute if he really needed it, 1 part water, 4 parts sugar. He loves cooking, it seriously wouldn't have been out of character, like it was right there, why not.
