@@ControlGuyMTG i have loads of fun decks already, just two who can abuse the mulligan mechanics like that for quick and easy games.. Mono red laelia the blade reforged for brawl(94 lands, its another stupid combo deck that dies to removal) and now this😁

honestly tibalt's trickery is funnier cuz with that you never know what you will hit xD but yeah this deck is good for grinding dailys
Turn 4 is a pretty fair win turn in timeless though.
100% it's not brocken as in too strong I just think that the play pattern is not really magic? i guess...
@ControlGuyMTG That is a fair assessment. Not sure what WotC can do about it without bans, given the makeup of the deck. Will be interesting to see if they break or bend their nonban rule for it.
Seek isn't the issue - it's Thassa's Oracle. It's just another way that it's broken.
fair assessment! the problem is oracle is a card that is brocken as a 1x in the deck so restricting it does literal nothing. Wizards said they won't be banning cards in timeless so unless they change that oracle is here to stay :/
What if you only played a single seek new knowledge? Turn 3 win every time you manage to mulligan to it..

Since you're winning on turn 4, couldn't you use Jace and play this in historic as well?

this looks very good tbh! not too sure about dark ritual since the card is a little awkward to topdeck but i can see this deck being real good!
@@ControlGuyMTG i ended up bringing rit down to 2, it allows a turn 2 nulldrifter, or bowmaster/sorin play. I think 2 is right number

yeah, almost all red decks are simply played more in bo1 because they're the ez, cheap, braindead option that just pulls out wins because the opponent kept a hand expecting to play mtg instead of subtraction race game.
This deck looks horrendous and i feel like i was click baited well done. Your opponent wasnt lucky they played a 6 mana bad card in timeless because your deck gave them enough time to.

All I'm saying is every single format Thoracle is legal in has banned cards that are significantly less unhealthy for the game. CEDH tournaments in particulat are borderline decided by THORACLE, a two mana card.
@@bigspagheti4119 yeah I lowkey agree... like i think thoracle decks aren't tier 1 in timeless but the card just enables "empty your library" decks a little too much.

Oracle isn’t tier 1 or tier 2 in any format the closest it gets is legacy and vintage doomsday and those decks are super interesting and healthy.
