Just a little tip always inspect your care every morning before leaving he house. One tip for when your break fails, don't panic, stay focused and its its a manual car immediately down shift to lower gears sequentially down with your feet off the accelerator till 1st gear and it will slow and stop the vehicle cutting the engine or when its nearly slow you can engage the hand brake. If its autimatic shift to a reverse gear immediately and the car will immediately slow down to a stop and try to reverse then shift it into a park not neutral, this will stop the vehicle and then engage your hand brake. I put this there as this isn't usually taught im driving school and comes as an experience. Also with a tyre burst try not to step on the brake and just take your feet off the accelerator and try to control the car,do not use tge break or handbrake as this will make the car skid or lose control. Also same procedure as above , down shifting is known also known as engine braking.
