November 22, 2016, I cam out of prison to start my life again. I was both happy and deeply sad. I didn't even have a sweater for about a week. Had trouble sleeping at night, it was to cold to sleep. I was deeply sad of what lost, but happy to be free a man. I'm grateful that Hashem has kept alive, but sadden of how my life has turned out. My Hashem bless you Rabbis, you give some hope in a life full of sadness.

I don't buy that sadness is only what you are focussing upon. It's reviewing the immature actions we take, realising later the magnitude of the consequences. Remorse is the first reconciliation between what we did 'before' and what we know we did 'later'. Through that remorse, and authentic review, we come to understand the impact and by free will, we work on our character to become better and leave this selfishness behind. We are designed to make mistakes early on, by nature, and God knows this - God made us. Through experience, not around it or through avoidance, we come to drive our path either up or down. Forgive yourself. Don't hold what you've against you the same way that you wouldn't hold a small child's actions against that child who had intent to cause the consequences. You know what is in your heart and improvement on 'how' you see is what matters. You were perhaps justified in what you did. So change that justification for a higher Truth and a greater inclusion of what you consider when making decisions. Always position within Right, never to how it effects you. There is no affect, only effect. So what you cause within yourself through affect is how you are the victim when in reality, there is only effect, and thus how you've made yourself a target for the effects that can nvr be suspended from you - they are forever, like rings expanding from the stone dropped into the pond. You can mitigate what you've done, and I suggest you gain a wider, deeper appreciation for where you actions did 'effect', and how you can dampen the ramifications of effects that caused effects, which inturn carry on to effect further. Go help those you've caused harm or hardship to and you will have a hand is correcting the fabric of what you know you are responsible for. Wallowing is the aftermath isn't going to create Merit, although the suffering you will go through goes to your credit. Help others, put yourself out there, and you earn what you deserve, both positively and negatively. Intend what is appropriate and do your best to set yourself aside to help effect the effects that cause what they do, due to you. When you see how you have helped, you will start to feel better, and better still. We deserve what we earn but waiting around for God to confirm we are off the hook from responsibility is no way to live. Now, your next act is to improve your character. If you want to 'take' from others, 'Guce' to them, and do so in several versions.
