Feel your pain. As someone who was out of the sport for nearly two decades due to poor health I know it sucks to be injured! Good luck with the recovery.
Looks like you'll be coming back stronger! 💪
Thanks Steven! I think so!
Thanks for the report back. Progress isn't linear but your attitude and rigour during your recovery will defintely bring rewards on the track and on the road. I hazard that we will see the outline of that six pack soon as well.
So good to hear and see the positive vibes my friend! Stay strong!👍🇨🇦
Thanks Leighton!
Always got to be patient when injured. Very hard to do. Great that you are getting in the strength and conditioning. You are doing great. Just keep looking after yourself 👍
What a mindset. Top runner, top person.
Thanks buddy 😄
Good luck with the recovery Cole. Look forward to seeing the comeback 👍
I'm so glad you're feeling better mentally now. I've not been able to run for two months and replacing running with cycling has given me a similar mental boost but it has gotten a little bit annoying sometimes not being able to get out there on a run.
Thanks mate, likewise, hope you’re keeping well mate!
Great to see you making the most out of a horrible situation. I haven't run since 1st October because of hip pain. Waiting for an NHS physio appointment on the 29th. Wishing you a speedy recovery
You got this mate. Yep I’m waiting for the NHS MRI scan too. We’ll be back!
Hopefully your hip will be fine, but if the worst comes to the worst then it's good to know that some people run just fine after a total hip replacement. Including me! One chap with a double hip replacement did a 2:45 at the last Valencia marathon.
Great to see a smile on your dial throughout that bro! 👊🏼
Thanks Simon bro 🥺
Good better Cole! It looks like you are doing all the right things to get back to the starting line. Funny -- as you were going through your workouts and I was watching, I was doing some of the same exercises you were doing as part of my nightly routine. Be sure to let everything heal up -- I know you are anxious to get back at it.
Thanks Eddie, much appreciate 💕
The most upbeat we've seen you in ages. Great to see
Thanks so much guys :)
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. I love your honesty, most runners will get cabin fever and want to get out asap. Great to see you keeping active by other means. Wish you a speedy recovery 👍
Love a bit of lemonade! Thanks a lot 😁
Speedy recovery Cole
Glad to see the video. Get well soon!
Thank you!
I hope it gets better big boy
So much time ahead of you, you’ll quite literally be back a stronger and more robust runner. Well done mate, how often per week are you doing this S&C workout ?
I do this once per week, but I prefer to be in the gym if I have time!
I find lifting heavy weights with low reps better for building strength. Since I started calf raises with heavy weight, I have never had an issue with achillies, same with hamstring exercises. All the best with rehab Cole.
Thanks for sharing 😁
I didn’t run for 4 months after Berlin.. just broke myself. I did everything possible.. cross trained , swimming.. rowing..
Only now am I running again.
What I will say is.. acceptance. Accept your injured.. when you’re in the moment it’s tough but it will pass Ann you’ll be running again .
I’m having to write off this whole year to re build.
I frame it as a rebuild, as a chance to come back better
Good luck man
acceptance is the key then you can move on
Thanks for sharing mate, that doesn’t sound easy. Do you have a page for your tattoos I’d love to check them out??
Im going through a similar thing as you at the moment, i have been sick for about 4 weeks now and not training. At first i thought it was just a normal cold but it took me 2 week to recover from it and when i started training again it was to soon and i had to stop again, just to get sick again. We are going on training camp in about 4 and a half weeks and i really hope that ill be back to fitnes by then, because i plan to start training again this week.
Bro I have little irritation in my left leg outer part of knee now I'm on rest for 10 day's 😭
I've heard of those training with ellipticals and barely running actually crushing it in races. I think Dan King, masters runner, said it on a couple podcasts. some others too, wish I could remember names..oh well. I hope you'll get the same results. Let us know!!
Parker Valby won the NCAA and does barely any actual running haha
@@ColeRunning RIGHT! Like twice a week. Insane cross training.
Shaft teehee
I nearly giggled tbf haha
