David Meltzer I went through a divorce and feeling down in the dumps, got demoted at work as home life was affecting work perfomance. All this had been happening for A few years. A friend just suggested meditation. I started with just listening on how to meditate. Then it moved to listening to Erchkatt Etolle (spelling). I received a call 2 weeks ago from a company asking to interview me. Wednesday is my last interview and I can say, just being grateful for the lessons I have had, the heartbreak. I also forgave my ex hubby. At my current job they are looking to promote me again after many years of trying to move back up. It All opened up when I started saying "Thank you". Blessings, love and light to you for this great video😊

Many TED talks are highly educational. David Meltzer's talk provides simple, life changing practices that can only lead to a better world, internally and externally. We already know that Empathy + Credibility = Trust in the external world. David provides answers to align the internal world to our authentic self, our birth right and our deepest desires.

I am grateful for the smallest things especially after being diagnosed with MS which I think was prepared for by God because He prepared me by teaching me to be organized and caring for others even in the small ways I have been doing all my life starting by protecting my siblings from my dad's rage to feel empathy for others and be present ad ready to listen and understand others.

This is a great talk. But the only problem I had with it was that he spends the first half of the talk giving too much autobiographical information. I can understand why. Speakers do this so they can set up the rest of the topic. But I think he could’ve spent more time talking about his main philosophical points that he was presenting. He flies quickly through his points of accountability, effective communication, empathy and gratitude. In the last part of the talk he gives a very wonderful visualization technique but he only spends one minute with it. Nonetheless he did cover some good points and tried to make them as practical as possible

In Judaism we thank and bless God all day long. I thank God every night for giving me the nice day.
In the morning we thank God for returning our souls. So that we can bless and praise God all day long. Every food we will put in our mouth we say "blessed are you God."
It is about baby steps moving forward adding all of these blessings.
