- Two short interviews with the late, and very much missed, Heath Ledger. In 2005 he talks about the exhaustion of promoting three films together and making "Casanova" in Venice; and in 2007 - much more animated and in great form - he talks about wanting to return to live in Rome and how best to decipher Todd Haynes' enigmatic film about Bob Dylan, "I'm Not There".
I don't know why, but every so often I find myself binge-watching Heath Ledger interviews...., I don't think I will ever let him go, I have so much love and respect.

The interesting thing to find out about Bob Dylan, which came out in a documentary where there were several interviews with him, is he wasn't particularly an intellectual thinker. Which I assumed, and maybe other people assumed, by his intricate lyrics.
That he would talk in depth of the meanings of his lyrics. But apparently he didn't really think about it in depth.
When asked he would generally say he really didn't know.
He would let other people come up with meanings for them.
He was tired poor guy had a heavy work load I think he was just exhausted and the sleeping medicine didn’t help

I know it’s a common fact that Tom Waits inspired Heath’s Joker and I think it’s very evident here given he’s wearing an identical hat to many of the ones worn by Waits.
I kind of forgot that he was the kind of actor like Daniel Day Lewis, where when I would see interviews of him, it would be like, that is not the person that did those roles, characters.
He didn't act parts, he became other people.
That is the kind of actor I would have wanted to be.
