What's typically American is that you're walking down the street, and you're walking with a solo cup. In Europe, this is not done. Sometimes it is even prohibited.
When I came to the USA on vacation, it shocked me to see so many people with solo-cups in the street. This returns an image that says: "Americans can't stop consuming, even when they walks". And I'm not talking about Black Friday...

Lol this is only done in place with no public intoxication laws. which are typically "vacation" spots. Like where I am from you wont see that and it could also get you arrested.

Varsity (college) rugby is big in South Africa but only watched by varsity and young people really. School boy (high school) rugby is pretty big too but again mostly attended by the schools playing, past pupils and parents
