I’m building a G47 Gen 5 MOS. Have the Timney Comp trigger. Holosun SCS. Streamlight TLR-1HL. Magwell ring. Glock Store slide plate. Extended slide lock. Just from watching all your videos. I wanted a G17, but noticed the barrel swap for the 19 and 47. Now I have both and now I got 4. Having 1 is none, having 2 is 1.
I wish Glock had done the G47 route years ago we would all be in a better place lol
I only have experience with the Hive Technologies Monarch trigger. It has been an amazing trigger. Zero take up, crisp break, short reset. It is adjustable so I was able to fine tune it. I have used it in my conceal cary piece for about 5 years with no issue.
I actually don't own one of those.
@@TacticalConsiderations I decided to buy another glock over several other options due to that trigger.
I have that trigger too. It’s definitely underrated and never mentioned in trigger videos. Zero grime, defined wall. Crispy and smooth for sure 👌🏼
There are other systems out there. I had a G34 G4 come in from Yeti, which I customized some more. It had a Zev trigger, but no corresponding bar. A Ghost system made it smooth.
Oh there are tons for sure.
You were absolutely correct about the new Timney Glock trigger! I tried a bunch of different ones, but my gen 4 g19 loves it!
It's crazy different
Lots of problems with my timney
@@fotofavoloso267mines shooting binary😮
I recently installed Factr triggers on my 43x and 45. There is a defined wall but feels like tons of creep till the break (like 1/8” on the 45 and 1/12” on the 43x). Overall I’m happy with the overall reduction in pull weight and the shoe is fantastic but the creep till break I definitely didn’t expect based on your reviews. I’ll head to the range with them tomorrow and decide if I’m happy or not with the post-wall travel.
yeah update me for sure on those. There is a little but its should be right at the overwatch trigger amount. Do you have a factory or aftermarket connector?
@@TacticalConsiderations the 43x has the np3 minus connector from overwatch. The 45 has a stock (dot I think) connector. I’ll keep you posted!
@@TacticalConsiderations overall I’d say I’m happy. The g45 was smooth as ever and I already performed well with it stock. The 43x is still going to take some getting used to but the trigger has been lightened which it absolutely needed as well as the flat shoe. I was able to get Factr triggers for much cheaper than the other brands so I’d say I’m set. Thanks for the recommendations!

I'm from Brazil and I watch all your videos, they are excellent. Unbiased videos without purchased and sponsored content, because here in Brazil we do not have serious content, here we speak well what they pay you.
Thank you very much for the real content.
Glad you like them! Crazy that's how it is there. I have some sponsored videos on here but 90% are self financed by me, myself and I.
I believe it’s less about the actual shoe and more about the inner workings! Take Johnny Glock‘s for example you could send him just about any shoe on a GEN three bar and he’ll make it behave however you want it too it’s more about the builder! And not a lot of people can design a Glock trigger that’s 3 pounds without changing the striker spring but I’ve managed to pull that off! No light strikes in my Glocks! Lol good overview on different shoes though! I truly just buy the shoes for looks and finger feel “Thats what she said” and leave the rest up to Johnny or myself.
yes the shoe is a tactile thing but its also where the angle change is for the interface of the front of the trigger bar that changes take up. This can be done on a stock shoe with an adjustable screw as well.
I’m happy with my factory G45 trigger .. I’m still new so I am focusing on trigger control.
There is nothing wrong with that. Proficiency is definitely where to focus when first getting into something new.
I just got my first pistol this month and was advised to change out the trigger system. Your channel helps me immensely figure out what to get. Thanks a ton dude. I’ll have to buy some of your merch to return the favor. You kick a$$.
I appreciate tat but always remember since its your first training is more important than parts.
Great overview on the triggers.
Try a '+' connector with the Timney. It will raise the pull weight and give it real solid wall.
That’s what I use and the break is awesome 🍻
Thanks. I'll be tinkering around with it
Where/how do you get the + connector?
@@scrubly_jr glockstore or rockyourglock usually have them. It is the 8 lbs connector.
Thanks brother - needed a new trigger and your info was invaluable
For sure. Hope you find what you need.
Is the 3rd or 4rth time i watch this, dude your reviews are outstanding, the passion for guns you print in these videos is amazing, keep it on ! great channel !!
Thanks for watching. These are the fun ones to make.
This video couldn't come out at a better time. I was just looking at different triggers for my new 17 MOS last night, and now this comes out. I've about made the decision to go with the Overwatch, due to your last top 3 and review on it, so let's see if it stays at the top!
Solid choice .
@@TacticalConsiderations just ordered the Overwatch Poly DAT, based largely on your recommendation. I tried to use your link on your website, but it isn't working right for some reason. In case anyone is interested, they are offering a shoe only model now, and it's only $39.99!
How do you like the overwatch now? Has it held up?
@@drepop803 still going strong. Feels and shoots just as crisp as it did when I first got it. 100% good to go.
Great video. That overwatch tac trigger is still my favorite with the NP3 striker, minus connector, and safety plunger all Glock Oem parts just NP3 coated. If I get more time with the timney and comfortable with how easy it is to break through that glass rod like wall my opinion may change. I think with the right tweaks that may be fine for EDC too but out the box I’m just not comfortable with it. Did you install and use Johnny’s kit for it yet? If so what’s your thoughts 💭, happy Easter to you and the wife btw. Hope it was a good one
Hope you had a great weekend too McNuggets. I do really like the Overwatch. Its tough to narrow it down with all the good options.
I'll probably edc a timney when I get my dagger in, I'm use to 1911s so its totally fine to carry
Thinking about going with the new Timney more and more 🤔
Overwatch is my go to trigger. I’ve got the Timney and love it but that’s in my range only G17. Apex is next in the list for sure.
Solid choices Pete.
Great video, I just ordered the Timney trigger based of the review you did on it. What magwell are using on that same gun with the Timney trigger?
That the steel city
Good info.
Nice video.
My favorite Glock is a Gen2 31. Stock trigger with Ghost connector and Wolff springs.
I'm surfing videos because I tried that same setup on Gen4 41 and didn't get nearly as nice a trigger.
Much appreciated.
Great timing for this vid. Cleared up whether the honorable mention would be good for EDC.
Glad you liked it
Good information!
I carry a G22 for duty, but prefer .45ACP so my carry pistols are either a G21SF or a G30S (which can use G21 13-round mags) and am looking for a replacement trigger, and this video is a good starting point for my research!
- RLTW 2/75
On the G21 I use the Overwatch Poly-Dat. Price, safety, and performance are excellent.
Oh man my 30 has been in the safe for a long time. Be safe . RLTW!

I think that I'm going to buy their TAC Trigger
@@TacticalConsiderations
Good EDC pistol!
FYI: I think that I'm going to buy an Overwatch Precision TAC Trigger
I have a 30s , qhat trigger do you think are the best for edc new follower
Just love this channel!!! Just got my Free yes FREE Glock G45 Gen5 that I WON in a raffle from C2 my local shooting range. It cost me 142$ total since I got the MOS cut and the Ameriglo Bold Night sights. Should have gotten some suppressor night sights but the optic is still a ways away!! Looking to drop in a new trigger ASAP!!!
That is awesome you won the C2 giveaway. Hope you enjoy it.
Glock 19 gen 5 mos with the overwatch precision polydat trigger with a ghost minus connector was pretty decent. Defined wall with a little more over travel than I would like. The feel was good however my finger placement wasn’t consistent.
Recently replaced with apex trigger and trigger bar with ghost minus connector in the g19 gen 5 mos and I love it! The red shoe is nice contrast. The wall is more defined. Nice crisp break. Very little take up. However, there is still some over travel but not a deal breaker and I think the g19 just has those tolerances. The weight is definitely lighter and sometimes it outshoots me lol.
Will be trying the overwatch tac trigger and bar soon on a g43x mos. Will update. So far, can’t go wrong with the apex!
Nice set ups. The glock trigger are tough to get rid of overtravel without putting in a screw in the trigger block to stop the bar from over travel but that's a big change in the pistol
Great review on the triggers, I have Timney triggers my LG‘s excellent Chris and clean Pulls
Good choice!
I put a polydat in my g43 to really just get a flush trigger safety. I really didn’t expect much but damn I’m impressed. I typically stick with apex Glock triggers but I might try out another overwatch when I get another Glock.
Glad you liked it.
Hate to say it but the factr was a no go on my gen3 g19. The vertical extension is too close to the the safety plunger. When I push back on the trigger without pressing the safety tab,the vertical extension slightly depresses the plunger. I don't know if it will be enough for the striker to move but I don't feel safe with it. They took out way too much pretravel.
Interesting that should not be happening with this trigger.
Just what I was looking for . Thank you sir .
You are most welcome
Had a major issue with the overwatch unit.
The trigger shoe pivot point is 1/8” smaller than the OEM Glock unit. This allowed for a considerable amount of side to side play in the shoe, which would allow my slide stop lever to ride up and cause the slide to lock back with a full magazine. Apex or zev did not do this. Something to note and maybe mention next time.
None of mine are like that. However, I asked around apparently there has been a re design of the shoe to make the shoe usable on all gens with the change only the bar I am assuming to cut production costs.
@@TacticalConsiderations that’s very interesting. Swapped it out for a Apex unit and haven’t had an issue since. Very weird.
@@test15799 What Gen do you have?
Boy how I missed ya guys! But I’m back just got a G17 MOS ordered a timeny trigger for it
its a whole new world.
After many years I broke down and got 2 Glocks. The reason for not having a Glock all these years is because of the triggers. I got a 19 X and a 45 Gen 5. I never shot them until I put the Timney triggers in both. I did have trouble right off, the trigger return spring was a little to weak to return the trigger. Timney really step up and sent me some stronger ones. All I can say is after about 500 rounds is NICE, VERY NICE. This is a game changer for these guns. Both break a little over 3 lbs. I took out the pretravel out of one, this should only be done on a range gun and not for carry. I am talking about WOW, just a little pressure and bang, very little reset and off again. I can only speak for the Timney triggers as I have never tried any others but they are great. Timney was very fast and helpful and sent me the needed spring express mail they have great customer service.
Very nice. I am wondering if I got stronger springs out of the gate .. Mine have not experienced the weak reset but then again all of mine are very well broken in.
Find a court case where trigger modification got someone jail time?
Awesome! Been waiting for this video. Great video per usual!
Glad you liked
Love your videos! So informative.
Thank you
I love my Factr trigger! Only purchased it cause of the knowledge you shared with us. Great video as usual. 👍🏼
Glad you dig it
My favorite is a 3.5 ultimate connector by ghost and updated 6lb heavier striker spring. Has a defined wall due to the spring and the connector takes out the mush.
I have seen way to many problems to ever trust ghost.
My factory Glock P80 GEN1 Lypseys exclusive has a really good trigger that has pretravel that I don't mind but hits a very hard wall then breaks heavy with absolutely no creep like breaking glass. I have a bunch of Glocks & they all have a little creep but I can't figure out why the P80 came from the factory this way but I ain't complaining. I'd suggest trying Glock triggers before you buy cause there are some that just come out with a great trigger. Hickok 45 says he tries out triggers before he buys & he doesn't like gen5 triggers cause they're " mushy" & he finds the gen3 & 4 triggers are crisp & have a glass break on some but most have creep.
I get ya I've had over 2 dozen glocks of my own and at work have tested at least 100 more none had great triggers out of the box . Glock Triggers aren't terrible the design just is what it is
After several hours of frustration and phone calls to Timney, my Gunsmith gave up trying to install the comp trigger into my stock Glock 19 Gen 4. However, he did test installing it in his Glock 19 Gen 3, and it installed and functioned perfectly. Timney indicated on his last call that Timney had incurred some defective parts in their mfg. process causing issues for installations for Gen 4 pistols. Since I wasted $$ with the Gunsnith attempts I sold the Timney kit to him at a discount. I plan on my future purchases with Mcarbo in the future since I've incurred no previous issues with their products.
Interesting I have it in a few but I didn't experience that. Been a while since a got a new one though for testing.
I am filing the trigger safeties on all my guns to make them flash, when pressed, with the trigger ! Supper comfortable after that and free!! Its plastic molding so little sharp edges is always to be expected but never a reason to spend hundreds for upgrades ;)
They can definitely be smoothed out.
Hi, I am doing a p80 glock 23 build and I was wondering what magwell you are using on your p80? Thanks for the trigger review by the way. I have been researching triggers for days for this build.
There isn't a magwell for a 23 that I now of.
Overwatch has been my go to for a while, but I’m really starting to dig these Factr triggers. I love them
They are very similar in performance for sure.
how did you get past the fact that their trigger shoes are too narrow to fill the space in the receiver and allow a lot of slop on the slide release?
@@abcdefbcdefg8352 I have never noticed that on any of mine
I installed the Johnny Glocks combat trigger today. I am a mechanical doofus but managed to do it. It does not seem any lighter, but eliminates the mush and creep and shortens the reset.
Its a great trigger.
I added a Johnny Glocks combat , with the Jvex shoe to my 19 gen5, and absolutely love it! Have you ever tried Johnny Glocks? I’m adding one to my Shadow Systems MR920.
Very solid stuff.
Because of your reviews I'll go with slr magwell and now timney trigger, but you do not recommend it for edc. Wich one do you suggest? Thanks for sharing all this knowledges. Very happy your channel finally is growing up and take a position that really deserve it on yt! 💪🏼
The slr magwell is great for duty. For a glock trigger for say work or duty carry the overwatch is my first choice to fill that role.
@@TacticalConsiderations I've just watched your video about polish glock trigger. I'll buy a rotary tool and try it first.
Saddly I don't have a "trigger pull scale" to measure it, but I'll it anyway. Cya
I have an Overwatch Precision Poly dat trigger in my Glock 21SF...I love mine and am getting another on for my Glock 19.
its the best overall cost and performance in the game right now.
Great content as always my brother!!
Appreciate it! Nothing like some trigger action.
If I ever decide to use a non-stock trigger in my g45 it'll have to be one by Johnny Glock...that man's a wizard.
He is I have his video coming out soon
How is the Hyve Monarch stacking up to these in late 2021... getting an OP trigger kit (or one with the pre-installed trigger bar) is like mining for bitcoins in antarctica right now. Also, now that the sole distributor to the industry for NP3 coating has discontinued the service, what is a good alternative (aside from high polishing)?
I don't own a Hyve man. Stuff has been hard to get ahold of for sure.
I'm in the middle of a competition build, G34 limited division, I've had good experience with Zev fulcrum trigger, would you put Timney over the Zev for competition purposes? I've heard and read a bunch of good things about the Timney but never tried one. Any feedback would be awesome as I am planning on finishing my build in a couple months.
Thank you and awesome quality video man! Looking forward to watching more stuff.
The timney is definitely a great choice for competition it a way different feel than any standard designed glock trigger.
Threw a johnny glock combat trigger in my 43x. I love it.
His triggers are next level
@@TacticalConsiderations no doubt, he's The Glock Whisperer!
I have the same in my gen 5 love his stuff. Always pulls 3.5 Everytime
Hell yea
I have gotten a lot of his triggers in the past. Almost zero creep.
How many rounds did you fire with each one during testing? I have two Tactical Pontoon triggers and after about 100 rounds the pins came out on both of them. I lost the small spring that keeps the safety up so I no longer use these two. I liked them until the pins came out. They sent me a replacement shoe for one of them but then the same thing happened. Now I just use Apex.
Various amounts some have a couple hundred some several thousand.
have you tried the Rockyourglock phantom adjustable trigger or the innovative gunfighter solutions trigger?? I'm trying to decide which to get
I have not used those
I like the Johnny Glock trigger’s. Work very well, nice feel
JG triggers are so good ..
You knocked it out of the park with this one. Thank you!

Overwatch precision trigger is amazing especially pared with polished internals and a minus connector make my duty pistol amazing.

They are all pretty solid.
Big Mike, you are doing great reviews brother 👍👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅
Thanks Mark I appreciate that
I was looking into replacing the trigger in my Glock 19 GEN 5. Primarily due to the fact, I don’t like the factory trigger shoe and safety blade. I’m not interested in reducing the trigger pull, it’s more about the comfort. I was looking at the Apex trigger shoe, but they don’t just make the trigger shoe replacement for the Gen 5. Do you have any recommendations on just trigger shoe replacements or do I just put the old freedom Flatty in from Apex?
Overwatch and apex are the two I go to .
I wonder if any have failed or would you run an after market trigger in a Duty or carry pistol
Also wondering given the tolerances, I currently have the overwatch poly dat trigger. Should I switch over to the aluminum trigger to help with reliability?
I haven't had issues with either. I do prefer the aluminum
switching to overwatch's alluminum trigger shoe wont help the dimensional problems with their DAT trigger shoe.
Great video and channel, Bud! I’m new to firearms and I just picked up the G43X. It’s a great reliable gun, but the factory trigger is HORRENDOUS. Just after my first 100 rounds, it was already eating up my finger😖
I was wondering if you would have some recommendations on which tigger I should run with? I think i have the same likings to what you look for in a glock tigger so it would help me a ton!! thank you for any feed back.
I like the overwatch.
Is the trigger pull measurement any different if you pulled with the meter at the same speed as you would a trigger?
No it will measure the same but it can fool electronic gauges if you pull fast.
I had a poly dat trigger from overwatch precision trigger for 19 gen 4. Had to remove it. The trigger is thinner at the top where the trigger pins sits. When I’d engage my slide lock lever it would slide the trigger pin slightly out of the slide. Do the slide release having more wiggle room in that space. I chalked it up to my frames tolerances being loose. Then after a month of not carrying it. I took the trigger out and compared it with the stock oem trigger. Installed the oem back in and everything is back to normal. Don’t know if anyone has had the same problem. But I definitely will not be putting it back in my pistol. I do however have one for my gen 5 19 and 48 and have 0 problems. But with the 19 gen 4 i don’t understand why they’d change the dimensions of the shoe itself.
I just learned there has been a re design apparently of the shoe to make it usable on all generations . That is the issue I think you are talking about all of mine are previous to the change.
@@TacticalConsiderations most likely what it is. Mine was made for i think all gen 1-4
@@ohiojake5077 If it was made for gen 1-4, you wouldn’t have the problem then. I don’t understand
I bought a Overwatch poly dat trigger and it came with a gen 5 trigger shoe and would not work with my gen 3. The shoe itself had a cut out on both sides of the shoe causing the trigger pin to walk out the side of the gun.
Someone had told me they were using only gen 5 shoes now in all version and that was happening.
APEX for the win! Completely blown away after I installed one in my Glock 43x. The Red it comes in just pops!
for sure apex is solid .
How did you get rid of the mushy feel ? I just bought one for my 43x and the take up is super mushy.
@@esavanessa I actually swapped it out for Overwatch Precision
@@ProtectiveDadPranks thank you for replying!
What are the differences you’ve noticed from apex and overwatch?
@@esavanessa - Overwatch way more crisp. And the finger tip notch assists with perfect index finger placement every time!
I've only tried overwatch and apex so far. Overwatch terrible experience, but apex does the job. I only changed the trigger bar. I don't mind the standard glock pull weight.
The reason being you don't need to fish for the reset. You loosen your trigger finger a bit and it just kicks you out back to the wall. It's easier to follow up when you don't need to search for the reset. At least for me.
I hate when people complain about glock triggers as if they're built to run competitions out the box.
Jesse hat was the issue with the overwatch , was it the poly version .. I just got word there apparently has been a design change. As for the Glock trigger its def not a competition runner but it was designed the way it is for safety and to allow a wide variance in tolerances. but sounds like you already know that.
@@TacticalConsiderations lmao really? Yeah it was that one, I told them the shit didn't work. It would kick my trigger pin out. The slide stop wouldn't sit flush against the trigger shoe. It sat like this \ instead of straight up and down. trigger pin was sticking out about 1/16th on the right. Plus my slide stop was sort of digging into my frame.
I told them this, I sent them photos of both the stock trigger and their trigger installed. They ignored all of what I said "You installed it wrong." Immediately it's not us it's you routine. Which I replaced it with the stock to make sure I wasn't crazy. Then reversed it again. It wasn't my fault, that was clear. How hard is it to switch a trigger on a glock right?
After comparing the 2 it was clear their trigger had far too much missing material where the slide stop sat. Good that they finally changed that though.
I could careless for them, but at least future customers will probably get a better product that actually works. For the record it felt good, it just was worth a shit fitment wise. On top of the trash customer service, which really sealed the chance of me ever returning. They also made me pay return shipping, which just irritated me even more.
But Apex is great, going to grab another. I didn't know timney made glock triggers I see alot of their AR triggers though. Johnny glock used to pop up in my recommended but I completely forgot about it until now. Gonna need to try those 2 out sometime.
The change is from the full body to the version you had issues with mine are the previous gen to yours. I'll have to get the new one and inspect it
@@TacticalConsiderations Please man, tell me what is going on here! I ordered the Overwatch polydat, shoe only, cause that’s all they have. And I bought directly from them. Am I going to have issues in my Gen 4 Glock 10mm?
ik im late to this vid but I'm a new firearm owner and was wondering if the timney was ok to EDC. i heard Some say it could go off on its own when dropped or something, but not 100% sure. Is it ok to EDC in your opinion?
No the timney is a only competition trigger.
What are your thoughts on the triggers in the various shadow systems ‘glocks’?
Eric its been so long since I fired one of the shadow systems that Its tough to compare .

Seems like I’m having a hard time finding a trigger for a glock 29 10mm Gen 3? If the trigger say it fits say gen 3-4 will it work? Sorry new to upgrades.
The large frame stuff should but many stopped making them since they didn't sell well.
Love that battle work look on the first one on the left 😩

Thank You for the great content
Thank you for watching and commenting I am glad you liked it.
Been looking to upgrade my g43s trigger. Which would you recommend me? Looking for a reliable edc build. Another issue is nothing is ever in stock.
Overwatch is really hard to be all around.
dimensions on the trigger are a bit too narrow and will allow side to side play in the tigger and slide release due to there being 3/16" on one side, and about 1/8" before it meets the slide release. maybe the trigger bar is worth it, but the shoe is garbage
They have changed the design
Hey Mike I’m thinking about doing the Overwatch polydat drop in system. Are you running the OP trigger bar or the polished Glock trigger bar? Would be my first drop in aftermarket system. I put my g26 together from buying a frame, Glock lower parts kit etc. just kinda hate the trigger shoe and safety with a passion but want a better trigger all around. Figured if I went that route might as well do a full upgrade. Long question short lol, full polydat drop in kit good to go?
I ran the np3 but the polish is just as good.
Thanks man!
Just bought my first Glock. I have many Glocks, never liked the blocky grip. The G30SF ain't bad, BUT the safety blade is like a RAZOR BLADE. It has to be changed out. I heard of the Glock Knuckle, but not the Glock Finger Slicer. Who makes a wider safety blade?

The Lenny Mcgill special.
I have the Pyramid 2 in my G 43x and have no problems with it. The first time I shot with the factory trigger, I put a box of 50 through it over 2 hours and my fingertip was screaming an hour later!
Where can I buy the Apec trigger pull with the emblem on it? Thank you
Well they only do limited runs of that one.
I see u have reviewed psa dagger. I was wondering will a p80 trigger shoe fit a psa dagger trigger bar?
Well that I don't know.. I think you'd have to replace the bar and shoe.
Honestly I like my stock g23(yea) trigger after 10s of thousands of pulls.
Next would be an agency trigger but it definitely has no pretravel lol.
The agency just never did well with me . It caused a bunch of problems in factory frames, p80 but in the nomad frame it runs like a top

I'll try to get on in.
What type of magwell do you have on the gray frame gen 5 glock?
That is SLR
Trying to figure out a great trigger for my G17, G29, and G30.
I think overwatch makes one for all of them.
@@TacticalConsiderations thank you, Sir
Thanks for this great video brother! Question; Does overwatch offer triggers for the glock 43x Mos? Thanks!
Yes they do
Have a gen 3 19. Looking for lighter trigger for home defense but still reliable to where I don’t need to worry about it damaging other springs or parts in my gun?
The overwatch precision is might go to with a factory minus connector
@@TacticalConsiderations thank you sir
So why did the timney get the competition only label, is it not safe to carry concealed??
It turns it into a pre cocked design rather than the traditional glock design.
I've had my Glock 21 since 2016 I wanted to upgrade the factory trigger what trigger do you recommend
I ran the overwatch in mine.
Have you ever used Glockstore triggers? The only videos I see are all from their channel. I want to see an unbiased opinion on the trigger. A friend just recently bought their basic trigger, and I liked the way it felt and was just wondering if you ever used one.
I have a long time ago was not a fan at the time. but they have changed a bit since then
Just got my glock 19 gen 5 last weekend.
I missed out on the langdon glock 19 by a day.
Oh man .. well at least you got what you need.
@TacticalConsiderations I'm still going to get an apex trigger for it. I'm. Ot sure if I'm going to have the gunsmith do it for me or if I'm going to try it myself.
Johnny flock makes a kit to make the timmey trigger more user friendly.
Yup I have a video on it.
The Timney looks like the only one I could use without throwing up in my mouth.
The PDP trigger I customized is literally better than off the shelf 1911's
The PDP is amazing.
I have read what seems like hundreds of reviews on replacing the guide rod on a 43X, and after reading this one review, I am a little confused. I came across several reviews that machinists have stated the tungsten is a very brittle metal. If a piece was to drop on the ground, it will shatter, and the grain structure looks like sand. They mention it isn't a good material choice for firearm parts. (they say it might be SUITABLE for a competition gun, where your life isn't on the line if the part was to break) What is your take on this review. Is the solid SS the way to go? Please confuse me....
I have seen tungsten guide rods last tens of thousands of rounds.
Totally off-topic, but have you shot the Walther PDP yet? If so, would you take a full size PDP or a Glock 17? Thx
I went to pick it up and upon inspection the slide was striped out from the factory so the store sent it a a few other back before selling any. Not off to a good start

My shop got a few in, and I noticed two things... well, three things.
1. The ppq trigger reset is better when comparing side by side.
2. The optic plate is polymer, and underneath does not have any notches so the optic plate is only held by the fastener screws and no notch to prevent any movement under recoil.
3. While there are some good points to it, it doesn’t feel like the old Walther ppq in terms of quality. Sure, this is subjective but it felt a bit “cheaper” than I expected. I hear recoil is a bit more as well, which is also subjective and not a worry of mine.
I ask because your opinions are helpful, so thank you! I have the Glock 19x, Glock 19 and Glock 45 and debating on a 17. No real reason, “just because” I guess.
Herd great things about the empire trigger! Have you tried this trigger and what do you think?
I have not tried the Empire.
Could you please tell me why the Timney was your "honorable mention"? From the video it looked like the best one on the table.
Timney is not a carry trigger
