It was the Republican use of religion to try to remove rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness from women that opened the door for this. If one group can use their religious feelings to oppress women, then it allows us to oppress the rights of others based on non-religious feelings.
@@amberdoll4988 Anyone who uses religion to remove anyone's rights within a certain degree are wrong, women who use the fact that they couldn't vote almost a hundred years ago to justify oppressing rights of anyone today within a certain degree are as equally wrong as we were when we used religion to justify slavery and not giving women the right to vote.
However, both sides have an opportunity to make things right today. The Bible also preaches forgiveness and redemption. Just because you were a bad person yesterday does not mean you have to continue being a bad person today, you are given the opportunity to correct your mistakes.

Education doesn't dictate language rules. Efficiency does. That's why language trickles upward from the most unrefined speakers. The same way Peasant English replaced Latin.
