Thank you for shedding some light on this place. I’ve driven by there at least a 100 times and never even seen it. We tried their pizza yesterday, the best I’ve had since traveling in the Northeast. This is our new pizza place! Thank you! ❤

Glad you made it to Zoli's. We had one in Dallas (Oak Cliff) for a while and it didn't make it for some reason. How Zalat or Oak Cliff pizza (the worst) stays open and Zoli's doesn't in Dallas is beyond me. Zoli's is solid.
It was due to a constant battle with construction around the area. I work for this store and management told me about Oak Cliff

I only started watching these like two weeks ago, must have doom scrolled 50 or 60 now. And yeah. 7.9 from the moment he picked it up and there was no flop. I think it looked a bit too Neapolitan and fancy (basil !) to get an 8.

I heard that crunch from Gaspesie. You know where Gaspesie is? That's what I thought. It's freaking far and in the middle of nowhere and I still heard that crunch. Also, that pizza looked like an 8.1

Aint no way thats a 7.9 with the 8s hes scored. He cant even keep them on track now. That deserved a solid 8.5 or some shit. This is the issue with his scoring places that dont have supposedly good pizza so he scales down when he used to scale up due to it not being new york or new haven he would usually score up due to the area not being as good anyways. Now he does the opposite and with crunch like that and his reaction its in the 8s period. We legit just saw the other day one that was over an 8 and his reaction was this good.
Hard to say because we don't know the taste of sauce, cheese, etc. I'm thinking this pizza is cooked near perfect, but the taste might be a little generic.

Doesn't want to give anyplace in TX an 8 score because 'TX isn't known for pizza' unlike New Haven, NYC etc.

Imagine eating different pizzas from all over the country as a paying job.
There's another one in North Dallas and it's great. It was a hot spot for us Beckett employees when our office was right down the road. The atmosphere and the pizza is top notch. They also make pretty solid burgers. Love the CBR and Lady Marmalade pizzas. Good stuff!

The scale as of this past year is losing some magic and flexibility tbh.. its really only functional from 6.5 to 8.5. A 9.4 three years ago is an 8.5 of today. 7.9 is a former 8.4 ish, etc. We need that old scale back davey boy

Next time you are in Dfw, do Cane Rosso. The Zoli's guy owns that one too. It's hard to find good pizza down here in the traditional sense, but I think Zoli's and Cane Rosso do a fine job.

Dave gave his first high score to a Neopolitan pizza and doesn't even know it.😅 The high crust and the basil leaves...
These pizzas are not wood fired though. Cane Rosso would be the Neapolitan version of this and it definitely has more flop and soft crust.
@@justinleal3962 He didn't say what oven but it's definitely in the Neopolitan style, except they use no mozz, but some type of grated cheese like Romano or Parmesan instead.

Lived in Fort Worth my whole life and our pizza compared to anything I had when I lived in Virginia was 4 or 5 tops. never had NY pizza but I trust your reviews and I need to try this place
