I find it horrible that two years later and instead of getting better these issues have been getting worse
I agree. I personally live in Europe and just think it's insane how many things are such a big issue in the USA. For example, why should there be guns if they cause more murder and more victims? I think this music video is very great and eye opening, but sadly nothing has changed so far.
Statistically, police brutally is at a 3 decade low so it is getting better, just not fast enough... its definitely not okay right now though, I totally stand with the protestors

We didn't live in America and I did what you all wondered and showed it to my mom. The first thing that she said is that "How come this isn't taken down in CZcams? How come nobody protested against this?" She goes on to say that it is what's happening in America and just accepted it. I don't know what I was expecting cause when I first watched the music video, I was super shock with the gunning in the first scene, the choir being shot, and that person who jumped?? or fell?? from the second floor. I also got scared at the last scene cause I can see the fear in his face. There is also the lines in the end that said "You're just a black man in this world" like you're nothing and wont achieve anything. I got all those on my first viewing but my mom is more focused on it not being taken down and the prophecy coming true.....
I feel like the gospel singers in the video had a double meaning. The obvious one, about the shooting in the church in the south. But also, how everyone rushes to different social media outlets after a tragedy saying "prayers" and not actually praying, or just saying to fit in with society.
And the death of the church.

Well people are taking action now. And because the media decided to basically exclusively show riots majority of the time, people use that as an excuse to undermine the movement. They’re too stupid to realize riots are only a fraction of what’s happening, and majority of protests are peaceful, and are actually still happening.
This came out two years ago. Two full years. 730 days, and nothing has changed.

Juan Cena yeah it’s sad. my aunt is an art teacher at a title one school in houston. when i woke up to that i raced to my phone and when i saw “shooting in an houston art class” i panicked and texted my aunt. i didn’t get a text back for about 45 minutes. she told me it was about 19 miles away from her. it was so terrifying because i live about 2 hours away from her and i was so scared that she was hurt. it’s terrifying. and it’s sad that nobody is talking about the victims. they’re just talking about the shooter.

one of my favorite things about this video that fails to be pointed out is how gambino is allowed to be around the school children (i assume by the outfit) despite just killing a man. i think it’s similar to how in the parkland shooting, nicolas cruz ran free and was treated gently once caught.
He ran free because he tried to escape in the chaos. They didn't let him. Also ya he wasn't assaulted by the police when he was in custody because he was unarmed and cooperative. Would you like for the police to use unnecessary force on him?
